Scared while smoking

OK, so I got stoned off my ass yesterday by myself at the beach and I became scared shitless. Has anyone else gotten scared before while stoned? What do you do to stop it. It was really weird, I was focusing on the ocean then closed my eyes to soak up the sun and I felt like my entire body was disappearing and being absorbed by the ocean, sun etc.. like if I did not open my eyes and keep myself from focusing on one thing, I would disappear.

Also I seem to notice that the first 45m to hour of my high is filled with little miny panic attacks. Am I just smoking too much when I smoke alone? This normal?

Nah dude dont stop smokin. That happened to me awhile back, its probably the bud ur smokin, different strains do different stuff. Just cut back for awhile and you should be fine. Also, make sure ur in a chill place where you know no cops or parents will bother you. Also, where do u live? Its gettin cold now and i find that when i smoke outside or if i am outside when im high, the cold makes me shake and i sometimes get panic attacks.

stop smokin NOW if you don't you'll probabbly devolp phsycosis it happend to my cousin.

I've never heard of someone developing any mental disorders due to marijuana. I know it can aggravate them, but I've never heard of it causing them. Anyone verify this other then a it happened to my cousin?

it all depends on the person what do you think would happen to a scitzo if he started gettin high

it happens to me every time. i think you'll be fine.
examples:

- i'll be laying down in bed with my eyes shut and i feel like im sinking through the bed and that i dont really exist and i get really scared and i start to shake.

- i'll be crossing a busy road at a light and i will get like halfway across and get so scared that i might get hit by a car that i stop in the middle of the road and i just cant move and start shaking.

- i'll be just sitting down and i'll start to think that maby i am really dead and just imagining all of it. and im really not real. i get so scared thinking that i really dont exist so i just sit there shaking in the middle of class.

nothing wron with getting scared. thats part of the fun. U run around like its a nightmare. Pretty cool. maybe u are only scared cause u are alone. Smoke with others for a bit.

You will get used to it. Trust me. I dunno but for some reason i love being scared. Being scared is fun :D Although i'm high EVERYDAY, so me being stoned is normal, and being sober ain't

Maybe it was cuz of being alone. I just wanted to try it at the beach alone to see what it would be like. Crazy thing is, I think I will try again, but this time, let myself be absorbed by the cosmos and see what happens. haha. (maybe) lol.

I also just read that an "overdose" of marijuana (if there is such a thing) can cause hallucinations, loss of self etc.. so maybe I smoke way too much when alone. It is weird though, when with friends and stuff, I seem to get higher and have visual hallucinations while my friends do not. Course they are major pot heads, and I only use once a week or less. Dunno, always an intersting learning experience though.

u probably didn't smoke too much, it was probably ur brain allowing the high to win. A high is sort of a test. U gotta remember that ur in control and that what u think u feel or see is probably just a figment of ur imagination. I once got really concerned cause it felt like I was crapping myself but it wasn't so. So u just gotta take control and know whos boss.

Maybe u just naturally get affected by weed easier than others. I can get high off little pieces of shake I find on the floor, and about 3 hits of mid grade would probably get me pretty high. U may get high as easily as I do, which is a treat. I nvever have problems with smoking by myself and smoking too much, but don't hang with some hardcore smokers and over do it. I've smoked so much I couldn't keep my eyes straight and sat in the same position for 2 hours. Well I'm rambling, so good luck with the beach.

i get this sometimes and its a pretty gay feeling, just smoke somewhere where you feel comfrtable where you know theres no way you can get caught, maybe with some friends even better, and also just have everything ready for example food or air spray for the smell near you so you wont have to do much afer you smoke. I got paranoid once and tried to go to my kitchen and i saw my dog and just freaked out its a pretty bad experience getting a paranoid high, gl !

yeah paranoia SUCKS! I wasn't so much paranoid this time, but more like I thought I was disappearing. haha.. Guess I shouldn't do shrooms till I work through that! lol

hell that happens to me sometimes, it feels wierd but i actually enjoy it lol

recently when i eat while high (which is more than when i'm not :( ) it feels like all the food is going down my bronchial tubes instead of my esophagus rofl. i can't shake that feeling either, i just remind myself that i'm high. stupid tracheas! putting food in my lungs :p

lol, I get that too sometimes. Like I can't get enough food in me, then when I eat I think I am suffocating on it. Have to really concentrate and remind myself I am high too.

no need for help. ahh my friend had a bad trip on weed yesterday:

so it had been 2 months since he smoked and I we smoked about half a gram of some good shit out of my bong :). Well we were feeling it great. we go upstairs and he shouldn't have smoked cause his parents are looking at him with a questioning eye and if he gets caught he's a dead motherfucker. so he isn't sure hwen he has to go home. so he says he's on the couch and it's like a nightmare sequence and its all black, and he hears voices. But I brought him back on course a little when I told him he still had 5 hours to clear uup. Nothing wrong with a bad trip or a paranoia attack. It is all based on ur emotions at the moment. do u need to seak help because u are in a bad mood? bad mood=bad trip; bad mood=no need to seek help; so bad trip(paranoia)=no need to seek help. there u go, just gotta solve everything like a math problem.

ive got so scared and paranoid while walking down the road, that every time i saw a person on the street id run away and hide behind a car or a bush or something.. thank fuck i wasnt on my own lol

paranoia stories: I had a very funny at the time and after paranoia incident. I was at a festival in chicago and saw a women. for the reason of being high I thought it was my mom in a black wig dating another guy. I was just sittnig in a drum circle thingy and am staring at this women thinking she's my mom in her double life. but eventually I'm like, man ur fucked up. But paranoia is a very fun part of the high, even if u think ur gonna die its a thrill.

I always smoke in the decently large woods behind my house (they are pretty big, actually... 1/2 mile to 3/4 mile square). I don't get bothered by the night woods so much anymore, but whenever I have a rookie out there, they get spooked as hell... Fun shit! :)

Omg my friend gets scared every time he gets high, he has like extreme paranoia. every single fucking minute he keeps saing, "Oh shit my mom is gunna catch me, oh shit i'm gunna get sent to juive, oh shit imma get caught by cops." Don't worry about it, just think, "if there's nothing there, why not no fear?" I usually smoke at the beach too, fucking wind... lost a dime cuz of it... So stay away from windy places. Ne ways, just choose a nice spot to smoke, and go out with friends, because it's cooler that way.

I think you are smoking to much and getting stoned and closed your eyes and experienced a good head rush hahahaha. The object is to just catch a good buzzzzzz.
