So Incredibly Fucked

Ok so I am in a really bad place right now with the law/parents and I honestly just need some feedback because I feel like shit and i don't know what to do.:(
Im 16 and am a junior in high school. I am an extremely good student and am involved in numerous sports/activities.
I started smoking and drinking around last year, and have pretty much been blazing ever since..well anyway, so I got caught this summer by my dad cuz he found this homemade bong and then my mom found a fucking plant i was growing (bad summer)..so my parents sent me to this private drug councilor which i went to for a couple sessions and hated. I told my dad this and he said that if i agreed to stay out of trouble, get good grades and stop doing drugs I wouldnt have to go..so i agreed.
WEll everything was going great(school, friends, family) until about a month ago when I got a PMB with my friend (possession of malt beverage). My parents were really upset (not so much about the drugs but more about the trust) which really is worse to them. So i went to my diversion board and everything was ok..like 10 hours of community service and $150 and it would be off my record..
Fucking today I brought a bottle of wine and my piece and papers to school (something i almost never do), for this weekend cuz i was gonna drink it w my buddy after work. So all is good all day until I am in the locker room changing. I leave my bag in the locker room and go for a run with my ski team. When i come back I am met by the activities director/principal and im thinking oh fuck. Some coach had been walking through the locker room and have found the neck of the wine bottle sticking out and told the office. Well they called my parents and now i am faced as being charged as an adult (a second PMB and possession of marijuana). My parents are crushed and i feel like shit for betraying their trust. plus i got suspeneded for 3 days and i am doing so well in school.
At this point i dont know what to do or think and I really feel like i just need to get out of this fucking town and go somewhere far away. Please if you could just comment on my situation (whether form a legal stance of what will happen or anything):confused: Thanks.:(

First off, you made very bad decisions. However, I have sympathy for you, because I know what its like when your parents lose trust in you. Its very emotional for everyone. I really don't have any advice, just that bringing any drug to school is a bad choice, and should never be done.

All I can say is learn from this,,,not to better deceive though...

You need to play by there rules, then 18 get a Job and get out of there house and smoke all day every day and they cant say shit.....

tell your perents they are pushing you away.....if they want to know there grand kids...chill the fuck out..... your MOM will be like.....I want to see my grand kids when he gets married.

tell them to lay off or it will never happen, but you dont smoke in the house either, and get good grades....keep it chill for a year.

dude, it's not going to be anywhere near as bad as your mind is conjouring up right now... i imagine probation at the worst...

but as far as your parents go what do you really want me to tell you? you just kept screwing up... it's your fault alone, i don't mean to come off as an ass, but there's not really much anyone CAN tell you.... you did the crime do your time (as in with your parents) i say you quit til your 18... period, stop doing any drug, including alcohol and stay clean, maybe you can earn some trust and respect with your parents, back.... offer to even let them drug test you, just so you "can prove to them that you are clean" or you can keep up with doing drugs, getting caught and basicly continously dissapointing your parents...

do you get good ass grades? like A's, B's at the lowest? is your job steady? do you miss days of school for reasons other then actually being just to sick to go? (nasuea isn't a reason to stay out of school, having the flu and a 103 degree tempature coupled with full body aches, and constant vomiting, is) if the answers are yes, yes and no, then atleast you have that on your side, you can use that to show your parents that you were still performing "right" but now you want to quit because you're tired of disappointing them and you don't like feeling that way.

Man, talk about learning the hard way! Until you learn to keep your promises and follow the agreements you make you will continue to have problems. taking shit to school on top of everything else wasn't very smart and shows it doesn't take brains to have common sense.

that's not right bong, i think your a cool guy, but that's just not right.... he's the one making the repeatitive mistakes, if anything it's the other way around (pushing away)

you don't say your parents are flipping out on you, you just mention the fact that they put you in drug counseling, and even agreed to stop making you go if you agreed to quit, which to me greatly signifies they are doing what's best for you, maybe not in your head, and we all know marijuana is far less harmful then it's made out to be, but they dont' agree obviously, so they are doing what's best for you in their head. and you should be very appreciative that you have parents that damn caring... they just want you to have the best in life, most parents do...

man, i don't see why people bring drugs and alcohol to school. There's a time and a place for everything. You should have just made arrangements to go by your house after school to pick up the stuff. Was getting fucked up on the weekend really worth running the risk of getting caught and fucking up everything? obviously not.

anyway, it's time to actually learn from your mistakes. Now it's time to straighten up. Do your time and accept your punishment. You're going to have to prove to your parents that they can trust you. Don't bring anything to school that could get you in trouble. Offer to help your parents out whenever they need something. I'd also stay clean for a while if I were you.

I understand this and i thank you all for your responses..my parents both drank/smoke when they were younger so they know what its like but they are more disappointed with me about the trust thing..and i understand why.. its just that I feel ive fucked up too many times and the cop today was saying shit about how i might have to go to this rehab place for 28 days which would completely destroy me..People are acting like im fucking addicted to drinking and smoking when i just do it on the weekend w my friends cuz thats all there is to fucking do in this town..I get better grades then fucking 95%of my school, half of them who don't smoke..I honestly don't know what to do or think right now but i feel like i just want to go back like a year and change all the times ive fucked up..which is obviously impossible.
Bongman, I used to have the smae view as you which is that as long as i got good grades nothing else mattered and i would use this against my parents and tell them that it doesn't matter..I dont think Im ever going to stop smoking because it really doesn't affect me at all in a negative away (except for this fucking trouble)..I guess i should stop for a year and focus on school but I would lose many of my close friends..

Life throws you this stuff to teach you a lesson!!! you have 2 choices the right one or the wrong one... if you want to drink and fuk around then be a man and tell them so,,,truth,,, tell them you are going to be good and fuk off,,,Lie... good verses evil,,it's simple...

It will all be good soon enough. Just keep the attitude "There isn't shit I can do now so I shouldn't be depressed". It sounds stupid but its true there isn't anything you can do now so just try to be happy. Also talk to your school and try to work out a deal. Show your good grades and extra-curricular activites as a plus.

Almost every story ever told about getting busted is when they made a preventable decision. So always think about your actions and what you can do to prevent getting into trouble, but now that your allready in trouble and in your parents house you gotta play it cool for awhile. Lay low, do whatever you can not to get in trouble again. Dont smoke in their house. Definatly never ever take anything to school.Some parents are cool about shit like this and some just arent and it sounds like you got the second of the 2. So you gotta lay their system. Good luck

hey buddy, just so you know your not alone, 2 weeks ago i got busted in school for possesion of marijuana and a conceiled weapon. the only advice i can give you is to act mature about it and take full responsibility becuase thats what adults want. and just do everything you can to get your life back on track.

For the mean time, just STOP the smoking. STOP the drinking, just don't even bother with anything that will or could get you in trouble.

You got caught. Soo, you did it again. If you didn't like the consequences the first time you should have "learned your lesson" and not have taken any risk where you could get in trouble. I mean, its one thing to smoke and drink, but another to bring it to school or carry it anywhere that could get you in serious trouble. Caught by parents, one thing, by law or other authorities? Totally different.

Remember, each time you are caught, the consequences will get worse and worse.

i gotta say.am reading alot of these stories on this board and u americans really have it bad, in aus these are usually just dismissed as the stupid things young people do

with alcohol no one gives a shit if underage kids are drinking (as long as their not too young) sure cops will press charges to people who sell to kids, but thats bout it, with weed, same again, no one cares if u smoke a bit (though ure folks will be pissed obviously) but to get a fine and do community service just for drinking? thats fuckin insnae

that's because american law enforcement are very literal about the laws, rarely do they use disgression on subjects, they just go by what the law says to do... which most of the time, gets pretty ridiculous.... i went to jail, got my liscense suspended for six months, have to take a 4-week drug program just to get it back, paid over 1,000 in fines, going to have to have high risk insurance along with regular insurance (gonna be about 200, atleast i'm guessing..) for a number of months... all this because i got caught wtih ONE BOWL... and when i say bowl i don't mean glass, i mean those little ass default bowls that come on a metal pipe... yeah america sucks when it comes to laws on weed and other drugs.

man some of you all need to give him a break. i did the same shit man, never in school but busted by parents ALOT. I know what your going through and it sucks, i suggest stop smoking(what i did after like the third time i was caught) for awhile take your punishment. Now that im older i just look back and im like man i was stupid but what else can you do? just keep a positive attitude, which i know is hard but i really dont know what else to tell you. sorry

Yea for me it was the trust thing with parents, I know what you're talking about.

I lost it again after I was building it up, they just found a little bud i brought on vacation.

I don't really care about their trust anymore, just 9 more months and I will rarely have to see them again (i mean i can see them when i want to, not 24/7, i mean i don't even really get time to be alone, they're aaaaallways home.)

yea ive decided to pretty much stop toking for at least a couple months..possibly for the rest of high school. I fucked up because i told them that it wasn't my wine bottle when they basically proved it was so its gonna be worse now cuz i lied..what really pisses me off is that the one day i bring something incriminating to school some fucking nosy ass coach sees the TIP of a wine bottle sticking out of my backpack and fucking reports it...god i hate my life

you don't have a problem. just bad luck, so just do what you gotta do stop worrying so much. in 2 years you're 18 and a grown man. you'll end up having alot of trust with your dad and mom sooner than you think. i've had similar problems and way worse and it wasn't as bad as i thought when i think back. TRUST ME...it's apart of being a teenager.. YOU WILL SEE BUDDY :)))

Ok so ive calmed down a bit, and today i dug up the entire fucking garden which took a couple hours, and i think my mom was happy about that..I realize that it wont be too bad, but my parents think that im some sort of alcoholic (complete bs) and want me out of my current school because it is a bad influence or something. I have moved 3 times in my life and am quite comfortable in my current school and before this everything was going well (grades, friends, life in general).. if i go to a different school or a rehab place i dont know what i would do. All im asking for is one more chance to get it right and earn my parents trust back

you know one of the main most signs of an addiction is denial right? you make a strong point of "you're not addicted", when it's not really helping your case, i'm not saying you ARE an addict, i'm just saying repeatedly saying your not, doesn't help you any.

i AM an alcoholic (unfortunately it's one of the few things i can turn to, since it can be VERY hard to find weed) i'm addicted to weed too, not the plant itsself, the act of smoking, the act of being high... it just feels so good, i would have a very hard time quitting, therefore, i'm an addict. atleast in my own eyes. and ANYTHING in the world can be addicting... on a psychological level... i guess me having an addictive personallity doesn't help much.

hey man i know the exact feeling...i'm 18 (was 17 during the summer) and a sr. in high scool right now and this past summer was one of the worst summers of my life (i also am an athlete and get good grades). The very first day of summer one of my buds threw a class party to celebrate us being seniors n watnot (yeah yeah stupid ass high school shit lol). Well that got busted and me being a dumbass didn't run and got an underage drinking and had to take a class. I also got stripped of my captain spot on the football team and had to sit one game (would have been three if i didn't turn myslef in). Needless to say, the rents were disappointed and lost some trust but i didn't get grounded at all. Then about halfway through summer my friend left rolling papers at my house and my dad found them and started confronting me and shit and i ended up just telling him i've smoked weed but it's not a usual thing (little white lie lol), so he grounded me for 2 weeks for my friends papers...which was bullshit but w/e...then if things couldn't get any worse me and my friends were lookin to get some bud and this dude we were talkin to took a seat in my friends car and all of the sudden a cop pulled up and the dude through all of his drugs in the glove compartment...intense interogation and all this bullshit happened and my dad had to come pick me up and once again lost more trust...the summer just ended up being shity...i still found ways to drink and smoke but just limited it alot more and took my punishments like a man...tough times suck but if you can get passed them everything will be fine...just gotta keep on keepin' on, life's a garden, dig it.
