Life is full of cruel jokes...

There is this girl, I have had very strong feelings for her for a while now. A couple of weeks ago I told her how I felt about her. She told me that she was interested, but couldnt get over the quy who had dumped her a few weeks before that (why do the most amazing girls carry torches for the biggest assholes in the world, while I, who consider myself to be a pretty stand-up guy, am constantly getting cheated on and shafted in various other ways... food for thought, but anyway...)

I really don't feel like she is the kind of person who would say something like that as a brush off, and more so I feel like she's a better friend than that. But I feel like I am not getting anywhere. I want to be with this girl more than anything. But I want her to want to be with me, I don't want to be her silver medal, or worse her shoulder to cry on until she moves on to the next in a long line of assholes...

I feel so helpless... there is nothing I can think of to do to make this situation easier on myself. She knows how I feel about her, so I don't wanna be a dick about it and keep bringing it up. But I'm freakin' loosing my mind waiting for her to get over this guy, and hoping that when she does she will want to be with me... I just don't know what the fuck to do anymore...

There's more girls out there, there always are. I know how you feel, because I'm going through kinda the same thing at the moment. Just remember that everything good is work, and that everything dies. All you can hope for is that you don't get too attached to the next one so that when she leaves you won't be as hurt.

Sometimes it's better to just move on. Besides, maybe if you find a new girl this one will get jealous. Jealousy is a huge factor in the sick, twisted game of love, my friend.

I'd just give her a bit more time. It was only a few weeks ago she broke up with him, and who knows, it could have been a long term relationship. You know women are, especially if they were the ones dumped, it takes them a long time to get over someone. Guys too I suppose, but women seem to hold onto things for too long.

Just try and give her more time. You don't want to rush her into anything she isn't ready for, BUT if she thinks you're interested in another girl that will make her make up her mind VERY fast. Girls aren't that hard to figure out.

If you "force" her to make a decision it is probably not going to be good - Unfortunately, I think you are just going to have to be patient, wait, hang out with her, be there for her, etc. and just see what happens...there is no way to force her into feeling the same way you do right now....

Get her very drunk.
Giver her a few painkillers.
Then attach a small electronic surge emitter to the dopamine receptors in her brain.
Whenever she sees you, laughs at one of your jokes, or touches you,
hit that remote for the electric love.
She'll be yours in about 45 minutes.

Give her space but not too much.

ive been looking for one of them, or one that had a heart of atleast coper, to were i wasnt getting cheated on every other week... hasnt worked... and i havent been in this relation ship long enuf to find out about the heart in her... but she is beautiful

If she's a great girl, enjoy being her friend for now. She'll appreciate it. Don't focus so much on starting a relationship with her...give her time.
