Okai this is my 1st post here, and this will be my 3rd grow.
My 1st two grows were out door.Now is my try for indoor.
However, I have ehh 4 plants.... all were given to me.. 3 came from one friend and one from another... I have one big plant that came from seen and that im taking all my clones from... (which im having trouble with might i add but ill talk about that later). Now... there is two supposed kush plants in one pot... that he gave me, these were clones, and are growing really sparce. The fourth plant is supposedly "bullhorn" I have never heard of this strain nor do I know anything about it. now this plant is one of the WIERDEST I have ever seen... Im not sure if its the strain, or if its from stress but, the plant is basically all 3 blade and single blade leaves. Now what is really tripping me out is that there are what I believe are pistols... with crystals on them.... which have not opened up.It almost scared me to believing it was a hermie and, well could be but I wont really know till my room is ready for my HPS

I am vegging on 3 floros 2 are 4 footers and i have a 30 watt 3 footer i just added in today, I will be finishing up my grow room sometime this week how ever Id like to hurry and get the clones from my bigger plant now, I have taken 4 so far the 1st too seemed to fail it wilted like crazy. Then I read somewhere about taking my clone, leaving it in a cup of water for 24 hours. Put it in my rockwool cubes which arnt even rockwoll might I add after and put them in shade... So I tried it it seemed to work a bit better or w.e.
But I wasnt satisfied so I talked to the guy at the hydro store and he said just to mist them and put them under the lights 12 inchs from the lights.. this seemed better. By now the other two clones look so wilted I was pissed the clones were a bit long so I decided to cut the stem in half rid of some leaves and try again with them. they actually seem to have been saved But time will tell.
I have been up all night on this site and im loving it Id like to try the scrog method when its time to flower.
Heres how my grow room will sorta work.. I will have my clones and veg under my floros and hopefully some cfl's maybe some time soon this will all be in my closet which is ahh 4X2X6 maybe....
and Im going to close the closet off since right now there is no doors and then im going to put up 3 walls for my flowering room which will be hmmm around 6X6 or so. Ill be flowering using a 400w HPS
I have been learning about the son agro bulb and hortiflux or somthing like that I was wondering if I got one of those bulbs could I use it for veg instead of the floros? cuz im just not happy with the floros right now. ehh

Since i have gotten the plants I havnt gave them any nutes (I know I know) but i have been so broke its not even funny I just got some seaweed extract and will used it today Ill be going back to the hydro store soon hopefully today

Heres more pics I had some questions as well Im no pro but have a fair knowledge of how to grow.
Anyways.. the 1st few pics are of my clones.. this is my 1st indoor grow.. and also my 1st attempt to clone(bare with me).tje next pic is of my "bullhorn" clone and this plant is a complete trip it has 3 blade and single blade leaves throughout the whole plant... then to top it of.. It has what I believe are stigmas... with crystals clearly all over them... how ever there is no pistols.. or hairs... coming from them..
Now... if this is not a hermi.. which it doesnt really look like it is.. there is only one logical explination I can think of...
Is that my friend gave me the plants when he already started 12/12 cycle... Me not knowing had them outside for awhile.. then when i brought them in I put them on 18/6
Any help is greatly apprciated
Oh and also can anyone help me out with the last pic? that is also the "bullhorn"

that last plant just looks deformed to me. i would ditch it and use the others.

for cloning, rockwool is not a good choice for beginners, as it is not very forgiving if you make mistakes. the hands down best/easiest way to clone imo is a bubble cloner. they can be made for $10-20 and there is no need for rooting hormones, just water!

Yeah man I read your whole thread I just bought everything for the bubbler before i even read this.. and Id really like to keep in touch with you to maybe help me with the scrog...

Hey, I'm not an expert but that looks like nute burn on the last pic. Do you spray your leaves with nutes? If so, back off a bit because you may be burning them.

I'm not exactly sure but I think you may have stressed the light cycle enough to turn them hermie...

Hopefully someone more experienced can drop in here and correct me if I'm wrong.

well in all honesty... I havnt even given my ladies any ferts since I got em... up untill recently.. so the clones were already like that from the guy that gave them to me but I just bought Fox farm Grow big and seaweed extract... as well as fox farm bloom for later... Im just so broke right now its hard to do it all right.. so after the small yield the 2nd one will be much better I assure you this especially since I will be actually GROWING them myself.. and ill be able to top them well... the big one... I actually pretty much grew from start to finish.. it was my friends plant but I topped it a few times then he couldnt have it anymore so I took over.

Edit: Oh I just hooked up my bubbler.. and the idiot I am I only got one airstone... and its a 12 inch... so only like half of it is bubbling is this normal or should i get a 6 incher instead tomorrow ill go and buy another 12 most likely unless you guys inform me other wise 1st

i clone and use clf's and 4ft floro tubes it might help if you use 6 inch cuttings and keep the lights 2 inchs above the plant tops floros run cool and need to be kept close to your plants to be most effictive

are you serious.. the guy at the hyrdro said 12 inchs.. maybe he assumed i had a MH.. but still that would be to close for a mh for a clone wouldnt it?
eh I have a bubbler now and am testing 3 clones tonight.

way to close for mh but floros dont give off heat and the spectrum of light is better if the plant is as close as possable i'm useing a 125 watt envirolite cfl and 4 four foot floro tubes if you dont keep floros close to your plants they will stretch to the light and be weak and stringy closer lights will also increase yeild and give you better buds and stronger plants at least thats what works for me good luck hope this helps

no no I knew that... But i thought that because the clones had no roots yet maybe it could be bad for them thanks though

i used to use very small cuttings 2" or so and found they root allot faster than larger ones. also i kept my bubbler in my vegg chamber about 24" from the 8 4ft flouros any closer and the leaves start to yellow long before any rooting begins. you don't want to much light 'cause the cutting will try to grow instead of produce roots and this will cause it to sap all the nutrients from the leaves and that's why they yellow and die before rooting. at least that is how i understand it. btw 1 airstone could work, just put a cutting in and see if it lives to make sure. i'm not growing currently for security reasons(facing felony charges) but i still love to visit these forums and offer any help that i can.

Yeah Im just exiting a rehab program for getting popped with vicodin.. with out a script.... one of the lamest charges ever.. I had to do 15 classes.. once a week... and then I have to "stay out of police ontact"for 14 more months...

BTW what did you use for your scrog?

If your refering to the 2 smaller plants... They were both given to me.. supposedly one is kush and one is "bullhorn"
Both these plants are tripping me out.
the kush has 3 leaf water leafs... and just grows so crazy... I never topped either of these 2 plants.. how ever Im not sure if the other guy did.. if they werent topped they sure grow wierd..
the "bullhorn" plant.. now this one is CRAZY CRAZY, it has some single blade leaves. then all the rest are 3 blades.... and... the plant is dark however all the new growth is a brighter green. This one also just grows so wierd...

I cloned both of them twice... the bullhorn one just showed roots today..
I was wondering what is the longest I can leave them in the bubbler with out any harm? because Im short on soil and I wont have money for a nother week or so.

Oh.. the bigger plant.. Was also given to me however it was from seed and I basically grew it from scratch.. with reallly no nutes at all up intill recently... however it was used with miracle gro potting soil.... and that plant has grown awesomely. I cloned it about 8 times or so Im giving a few to a close friend and only plan to keep a few of em..

That wierd looking plant looks like some clones I have. They were cloned after starting there flower cycle. And put back into veg. They started growing just like that, with 1-3 leaf fan leaves. They are almost done now...look.

See yeah thats what I think happened here too... The guy cloned em and had em in 12/12 then gave em to me.. I put em outside for awhile till my grow room was rdy.. but they were already all funky when he gave them to me.. the "bullhorn" one has these calax's with trics on them but no pistils
