i really only thing weed should be legal though
ya I only think weed should be legal too, that sucks only 76 people have voted.
LSD & shrooms should become legal worldwide.......
why is it still illegal?
All drugs should be legal. There's nothing wrong with doing anything so long as you don't harm anybody else. It's perfectly legal to chug Drano, slit your wrists, chop your nipples off and stab yourself in the eye with a fork. So why's it illegal to shoot up some heroin?
“Hurting yourself is not sinful - just stupid” —Robert Heinlein
Should they be legalized? Nope. Ask any addict of highly addicting drugs-- they hate it (being addicted). And they would not recommend the drug to non-users or non-addicted users. They would say, "don't mess with that shit."
Only non-addicting drugs (physically non-addicting) should be legaglized Like weed!
But there's no evidence to suggest that prohibition actually decreases drug use. Plus, drug addicts are sick, not criminals. You don't get cured in prison. These people need to be dealt with by doctors, not policemen. Throwing them in prisons just makes them pissed off at the laws and then they're released back onto the streets to do their drug of choice again. Do you seriously think the drug addicts are better off locked up in a cage with nobody to love them or care about them, instead learning the ways of violent criminals?
What about alcohol, nicotine, and prescription painkillers? Should they be made illegal because they're physically addicting? Heck, there are doctors who claim caffeine is physically addicting!Quote:

For cannabis to be legalized the tobacco and alcohol corporations are going to have to bite the bullet and figure a way to get there hand in on it. Myself and others I know have used cannabis as an alternative to other hard drugs and especially cigarettes. My best friend was a hardcore alcoholic and he used pot hardcore to substitute the alcohol and then he weened himself down to a very moderate use of pot. Its a miracle drug and that isnt good for business.....
Face the facts boys!
the same with mushrooms, they have a healing property if used correctly!
Well, there's going to be a big drug market no matter what the laws are. Decades of prohibition have proven that the size of the drug market doesn't go down when the drug is made illegal. I think it would be better if all drugs were regulated in markets that are under the scrutiny of the public, instead of forced into underground black markets which only serve to provide criminal organizations with huge profits. That way people wouldn't get AIDS from dirty needles, eat poison mushrooms by accident, or blow themselves up in meth lab explosions.Quote:
