All drugs should be legal. There's nothing wrong with doing anything so long as you don't harm anybody else. It's perfectly legal to chug Drano, slit your wrists, chop your nipples off and stab yourself in the eye with a fork. So why's it illegal to shoot up some heroin?

Should they be legalized? Nope. Ask any addict of highly addicting drugs-- they hate it (being addicted). And they would not recommend the drug to non-users or non-addicted users. They would say, "don't mess with that shit."

Only non-addicting drugs (physically non-addicting) should be legaglized Like weed!
    Peace.

But there's no evidence to suggest that prohibition actually decreases drug use. Plus, drug addicts are sick, not criminals. You don't get cured in prison. These people need to be dealt with by doctors, not policemen. Throwing them in prisons just makes them pissed off at the laws and then they're released back onto the streets to do their drug of choice again. Do you seriously think the drug addicts are better off locked up in a cage with nobody to love them or care about them, instead learning the ways of violent criminals?

What about alcohol, nicotine, and prescription painkillers? Should they be made illegal because they're physically addicting? Heck, there are doctors who claim caffeine is physically addicting!

OK good point. I retract that last statement. What can I say i was blazed when I wrote that. Yeah I know bad excuse.

But I totally agree with you about the jail thing. "Harder" drugs should be illegal so that they are harder to get. I'm totally for getting rid of the ridiculous penalties for drug possession... just confiscate the shit and slap 'em on the wrist.
    Peace.
