I can't say my personal experience has much to substantiate these stereotypes. There are smart people, dumb people, slutty people, moody people of all hair colors and all races (not just the white people who happen to have this variety in hair color). Your personality is dependent on your social environment and your genes. But not the genes that determine purely external features like hair color, skin color or facial structure. I thought that kind of stuff was common sense to non-racists.

Rasist?Most the redheads I know are just like me which is a bit moody BUT that doesnt mean i'm agreeing with the jokes about blonds and brunettes because I know its not always the case.

I love all blonds,reds and brunettes who can laugh at these jokes wether they are true or not.

Why are they moody, do you think? Are they genetically predetermined to be moody? Or are they fitting into a cultural expectation to be moody based on a negative stereotype? Or is it just a coincidence that the redheads you know happen to be moody people?

I dont know what it is to be honest but I dont think its a cultural expectation really I mean I have always had my quick temper from being a child the same as one of my sisters.If it is a coincidence it's a pretty crazy one dont you think.

It's not that blondes are dumber, it's just that more men like blondes than other hair and treat those women diferently and make them stupid.

I think it's a matter of selective perception. I've never noticed any correlation between redheads and being moody, and on the whole I can't say the redheads I know are statistically moodier than the average person. I'd never even heard of that stereotype until reading this thread. But I can imagine that if you have some conception that redheads are "supposed" to be moody, you will remember the times they are moody and forget the times they act normal. Psychologists have proven that we tend to remember the things which reinforce our existing beliefs, and we tend to ignore the things which conflict with them.

The blonde jokes were made by sum sad lonely jellous brunnete or red head that cant insult blondes on anything else so they say there thick coz there jellous

I am a blonde..and I am a ditz, and I have big boobs.
You could say I'm the typical ditzy blonde.
But my man takes care of me.....so I don't have to think.
But I am really nice.
And I do have to agree that most redheads and brunettes are jealous of blondes.
I am in college and maintain a 3.8 GPA, but I just lack common sense.
