Why don't you use that button? Did you see an error two days later? Bad luck. I think it's a good idea. I found it disconcerning over @ OverGrow when people edited their posts days later...

Using that logic we might as well turn editing off altogether :) Seriously though, I don't understand why the time limit is so short if they are going to make use of the feature. I don't see a need to leave it open all the time either but is 15 minutes really that unreasonable?Quote:

Two or three times, I've posted pictures, only to find out that my hand is showing, or maybe my distorted face is seen in the Mylar... then, those 5 minutes are a god-send... just edit, remove pictures, and save.
Edit pictures, and if you have time, re-edit... if edit is not possible, then new post.
As to having more than 5 minutes, I think that could be hell for the fast-pace of the lounge.

Oh sure. Five minutes is great for those of us that type fast, are fluent in how the forums work, and have broadband. Like you said though, there are times when it is critical to be able to edit and it shouldn't be just those people who benefit. Ever tried to edit and gotten sever busy screens for more than 5 minutes? I have!
On a site like this where security and safety are involved I think its okay to make a few allowances... aside from the fact that it really just isn't that big of a deal :)
