Well, I think that if we ever prove that there's some superior being to humanity, and I don't think that's completely inconceivable, there will be absolutely no way to comprehend it, and we will not realize that one particualr religion is right and all the others wrong, but rather we will discover that ALL religions are both wrong and right at the same time. Of this, I am positive.
We will all agree that we have a limited capacity to understand other human beings, let alone something superior to us. Therefore it would be completely impossible to even begin to understand the purpose, the thought process, or even the possible manifestations of such a being. God is beyond comprehension, and almost nobody understands that.
Once the existence of god is hypothetically proven, we will also realize that each religion probably had some tiny aspect of the truth buried in its lore. Because when you think about all the religions comparatively, there are more similarities than differences. God, Allah, Yahweh, Jehova, Jupiter, Zeus, Buddha, Jesus, and all the other names given to god will probably turn out to be one and the same entity.
