Need some good advice please on passing a rapid 9 panel test..

So a little bit about me. I'm 6"1' and around 180lbs, 30 years old. I have a rapid 9 panel piss test this coming week at a Concentra location. I started smoking about an eight to a quarter a week for the past 3 months. I quit smoking on the 6th of this month so as of today 10/18/13 I'm 13 days clean and I plan to take my test this Tuesday so that will be 17 days clean. I am pretty skinny and am somewhat active. So I have the career job I've been trying to get for years but just have to pass this test. I was going to buy a drink from GNC because it worked back in college. I forget the name but it was around $50 or so. Should I buy a at home test at Walgreens Monday just to see if it shows up or would that be a waste of money?? Any advice would be GREAT!! Just reading the posts on here, you guys really know what your talking about. I prefer to not have to use someone else's piss or anything because I would be nervous that something would go wrong and lose this job opportunity. Thanks guys!

Testing yourself with a THC test kit is a good idea. That way you'll know where you actually stand. When testing yourself, be sure to use the first urination of the day.

If you test positive, then you should really consider subbing if you really want this job. Your only other option would be dilution. Youd have to begin creatine-loading 3 days before the U/A and follow the steps outlined in the Dilution "sticky" thread......and pray.

Forget the magic "detox" potions. Do an Advanced Search with the terms "detox products scam dilution".

Thanks for the response Burnt Toast! I didn't think about the first urination of the day, thats a really good idea. I'm surprised about the drink. I thought those gave you a 2-3 hour "window" but I guess not.

That "2-3 hr window" is simply just the time frame in which the magic potion keeps the urine diluted. All detox potions "work" by diluting. They "mask" by diluting. The thing is, you can spend an obscene amount of cash on a magic elixir and accomplish nothing different than what can be accomplished by using just vitamins and water.

Interesting. Any advice on a good home test and where to buy it? I plan to use it Monday morning with my first urination of that day. There are so many brands and price ranges, just looking for one that would be accurate for this 9 panel. Also, I take it the "rapid" part of the test gives them results within a few minuets? Thanks!

Thats correct.

Rapid = instant-type test.


The home tests function on the same principle as the multi-panel instants. Therefore, neither are more accurate than the other.

As far as where to buy, check your nearby chain pharmacy store. Or you can save plenty and order them online. Do a Google search for "drug testing kits".

Okay so today is the day for my Rapid Test 9 panel UA at Concentra. The last 2 mornings I used at home test kits and failed both with the first urination of the day. So I am going the subbing way. I bought a 3oz bottle of agent X unisex synthetic urine. I am in work clothes and plan to go around lunch today. I'm going to call to see how long the wait is before. The best place it fits for me is on the inside of my sock with my dress pants covering. I have taken a test once at a Concentra here in TX and they just told me to empty my pockets, never asked for me to lift my pant legs. Has anyone had any success going with this product and in the sock?? Thank You!!

Why not stash it as outlined in the steps of N2's Substitution "sticky" thread?

I knew a person that went to this location a few days before and they didn't make her lift her pant legs so that's why I went that route. Everything went perfect. They didn't even make me take off my jacket or empty my pockets. I do think I might of made a mistake though. I first filled up to the line and then pissed into the toliet to make it look real. During mid-stream I peed a very very tiny amount into the cup thinking it would make it look more real. I REALLY wish I didn't do that. It was my 2nd pee of the day. I am hoping that since it was like 5-6 drops and that it was diluted, it will blend in with the synthetic. I guess I will find out tomorrow and will update. Burnt Toast, do you think the 2-2.5oz of synthetic in the cup will override so to speak my TINY bit of my own I put in mid-stream?? Temps were perfect but I really regret putting any amount of my own in the cup. After I got out I did the signature and she printed out my copy and I left.

I think for THC on this the cutoff was 20 ng/mL. I pissed literally 5-6 drops during mid-stream on top of the full cup of synthetic. I REALLY REALLY hope I don't fail because of this!!

So it has been a day and a half since I took my eScreen rapid 9 panel test and still no call from my future employer or anyone. Anyone know if they will call/email if I pass? I have a start date and passed my background check but just waiting on these results. Anyone else have anything similar to this???

No they will not call you if you passed. Thats because a person is expected to be drug-free. They will only call if there were any problems with the urine sample.

Since you have a start-date, forget about the drug test and just show up for work and carry on with your duties with the "I dont use drugs, therefore my drug test is a non-issue" mindset. And dont discuss anything about the drug test to anyone. You want to be viewed as a "drug-free person", do you?

Yes of course and I am taking that approach. I have passed my background and they gave me my start date before I took my drug test. They just said they needed a drug test on file. They told me "As long there are no issues with the drug screen results, you are set to start on ______". B.T., do you think my very very small amount of piss I peed on top of the eScreen cup that I had already poured the Agent X up to the line will blend in or be too small amount or be diluted to effect anything? I realize after I should have not done that but I can't go back in time. BTW, Thanks for the posts and this is by far the best forum on the internet!!

So it is now Sat, a full 5 days since I took the "rapid eScreen test" with no call from my employer but still have the start date pending nothing comes back on the DT. They would have called by now if something was positive, right??

This thread is awesome! It's actually kinda what I was coming here to read.

One question I have for substitution through synthetics: how easy is it for a lab to check whether or not the urine is real or synthetic?

Here's where I'm at. I'm 6'2ish, and 220-230. Out of shape, and have an incredibly slow metabolism (I typically only eat in one interval per day, so my body conserves at lot). Smoke somewhere between two and four bowls a day (about an ounce every 1-1.5 months), and have been fairly constant for the last 5 months. Due to a corporate restructuring, my department is being absorbed into four others. To move to the part of our business and give me the opportunity to get promoted the quickest, I need to take a drug test.

The drug test would probably be in about 1 month, and I plan to quit smoking after this Friday. I know my own urine won't be clean by that time, so I am buying a whizzinator online tonight (or tomorrow) to help me sub. The company we go through is Quest Diagnostics, so I know I won't be observed....but better safe than sorry.

So, question time for those who are more knowledgeable about the Sub Club than I:
1) Is it easy for a company like Quest to identify and report synthetics? The test I would need to take is 10-Panel (have already started shaving my head in case it moves to a hair follicle default) for what pertinence there is.
2) For the whizzinator, there are two choices: either freeze-dried synthetic urine, or their still hydrated version. Would there be a functional difference between using the two?
3) My roommate used to smoke as heavily as I, but quit 3 months ago, plus is very active. I know I could get him to give me some urine (we've been buddies for 15 years), so would it be more advantageous for me to ask him to provide my sample? (I would prefer not to ask a buddy for their piss!)

If you have access to persons urine sample that is known to be drug-free, then by all means use it.

Employment-related U/As are unobserved unless the donor had been suspected of tampering. Therefore, any artificial delivery systems are not necessary.

Even if there was cause for an observed collection, the observer, in adherence to protocols outlined by the DHHS, is to be inside the bathroom with the donor and directly watch the flow of urine exit the donors body and into the sample cup. There, any artificial delivery systems would easily be noticed by the observer, who would inform the collector. The collector, in adherence to the same protocols, would then stop the collection process and declare a "refusal to test".
