can I ask who you with and who did you get the "clean green certification from?
Alfonso.....after suffering a neck injury many years ago.... we started growing at that time....now I love helping patients through our growing of medical quality cannibas....it's a huge learning curve to go from growing outdoors to growing indoors....and upon deciding to make that change I sought out advise from many in the MMJ community, I met a gentleman named Chris Van Hook....who started the "Certified Clean Green" Program.........they inspected my room and all nutrients...sprays.....then my drying and trim room......the learning curve is huge again...when all your nutrients have to be OMRi certfifed.....no synethics....PERIOD......
Mr. Van Hook is an attorney.....he helped us set up our closed loop growers collective....this allowes us to make sure we are in complete compliance of 215 & 420
and make sure all paperwork is up to date.
SO....to answer your question....we are an independent growers collective ....who help patients, delivery services, and collectives
get our extra medicine to the people who really need it......As long as patients are have their doctors recommendation.....have proper ID and sign and join our collective agreement....we can help them.
The MMJ is in the very early stages of expansioin......We are in for the long term.....I myself spend over 3 hours in the grow room every day.....we have at least 4 test strains....growing at almost times.....looking for new strains....and weeding out crappy geneics......and believe me there are lots of crappy geneics out there.
Good luck New Mexico.........maybe I need to go down there and see what New Mexico has to offer the MMJ community.
Thanks for the reply weeddaddy I thought you were in N.M.Here in N.M. we only have licensed non-profit producers and no dispensaries. The program here is a lot tougher than other states.would be nice to have independent growers collectives here maybe someday will come when someone here comes up with a way to get one approved.
Does anyone know why they shut down? I'm sure it was the prohibitive cost of maintaining a Producer's license. :(Quote:

Been out of town and away from the computer.Quote:

Sam not sure I think I heard something about mold but it could have been a number of things.

I think Ruidoso is the second
[quote=alfonso2002]Wow - will have to give them a call. It is hard for me to understand how people could invest so much of their time and money and then just quit. I know they have had some setbacks and unfortunately, when the fee was in the discussion stages, there was a change from a percentage of revenues to a flat fee. This is really hurting the newest producers who have had limited income this year. They are all considered to have been in business a year as of Dec. 31st and are all subject to the $10,000 renewal fee. They undoubtedly would have been better off with the percentage. The older producers are subject to $20,000! Good luck to them all!Quote:

As they have 2 small children they have decided to focus on them instead of business. They said they have/had plenty of product but it was not working for them.
I also called Sante Fe today. Donna said " I can't tell you Not to send up the initial $1000 fee BUT they do not have the criteria for a producer on the website and there is no way for anyone to know what that criteria is as it is being updated as we speak and will not be available until after Dec 31". She said " So if you don't know what you need to include your packet will be incomplete and declined. It the past they would put a hold on a file until all info was submitted, but that changed. Now they just decline if not complete. She then went on to say that there are enough growers to supply the patients and enough meds for the patients. That is not what I have been hearing...
If anyone has more info please contact me. I would like to just discuss the process of getting licensed and involved.
Thanks
InsuranceGuy
Although Donna works for the DOH, I don't believe she gave you correct information regarding the information NOT being on the website. If you will go to their website, there is an area where you can view and print the promulgated rules of the program. If you just include EVERY item they list under the LNPP section, you will have a complete application. If you don't have all of the required members of your board...don't expect to be licensed. They require 3 patients and 1 medical person. You don't have all of them, then don't apply until you have them. NOTHING can be pending. BUT, you do not have to spend the money on facility, equipment, personnel, etc. until you have approval. Just follow the rules....they are all spelled out for you and anyone else who wants to submit an application. Good luck.Quote:

Contacted the Ruidoso producer. They are definitely renewing their license as is the one in Dona Ana County/Las Cruces. Sorry to hear about the one in the Four-Corners area but certainly understand. $10,000 is a lot of money to come up with in such a short period of time.
then I guess I understood wrong.Quote:

Hey Sam! There is still one producer in the Farmington area. There were two previously.Quote:

If a Producer is not running their Op right, maybe its Darwinian for them to go under......just saying.
We do have all the people in line, or will as soon as the cards get here.Quote:

Meet all requirements and have everything ready to go so when the new rules are out we can adapt, meet the requirements, and proceed with the submission.
Hope the cards get here soon.
I spoke with the producer that decided to close and it is more an issue of Farmington being too small for two producers and wanting to spend more time with family. There are only 200 registered patients in their county and 1/2 of those have PPLs. Same with Dona Ana County....according to the last reports, there are ~400 patients in DAC and 1/2 of those have their PPL. I may be wrong, but I don't see a new producer in DAC any time soon. The numbers don't support adding another one. They didn't have any herb for all of September, but they recently sent notification of availability. Hopefully they finally have their production going smoothly and they will catch up with the older producers soon. Has anyone given them a try yet?Quote:

I will miss their clones for sure.......
I also grabbed some of their OGRaskal Fem seeds when they had them available
gonna be some FIRE in those White Fire seeds!
OGR is one of the best med strain breeders in Cali,it was a pleasure to purchase his strains here in NM......
Meant to add that MEHI purchased their genetics so there should be some FIRE in the south soon. If you aren't registered with them, you might want to do so.Quote:

Why on earth would they pay their renewal fees and then decide to close? About the only thing that I can figure is they aren't passing their site inspection? Where did you hear this rumor? I get tired of rumors. It was rumored previously that the one in Ruidoso hadn't renewed just before they had their first harvest. Any idea which ones?Quote:

Not sure where your producer gets this info. The license renewal fee had to be paid by December 1st....nonrefundable. My understanding from the producer I work with was the 23 remaining producers had all paid their fees. Prior license expired 12/31/11 and new ones were issued with expiration date of 12/31/12. At the December meeting with the Secretary of Health only GTO and SFINM had not submitted their license renewal fees or paperwork. There were only 3 out of 23 that had all of their paperwork in order at the time of the meeting but the remaining 20 were given time to provide any missing info or answer any questions. I just cannot imagine any of them paying the $10,000 or $20,000 renewal fee and then not having their paperwork in order. Yikes!!!Quote:

Could be true Alf. With all the hoops we had to jump through, a few may not have made it. CFO's information is correct, however, if you did not have the paperwork corrected and submitted by the 31st you would not have been relicensed. It wasn't until last week (the last week of December) that we were finally approved for re-licensure and given our cards. It would be a real shame if that is true. We are already facing supply and demand issues going into 2012 - I can't imagine three less producers is going to help the situation.
I'm meeting with the bigwigs tomorrow - I'll sniff around and see what I can find.
Your right too CFO seems to be right 99% of the time. LOLQuote:
