Producers Going Out of Business
We lost a producer in the Four Corners area. They shut down on the 9th of this month. Has anyone heard of any other producers having to close their business?

I can see that happening very easily.......pricing below cost will do it to you.
I am a boutique grower with pepetural harvest every 3 weeks.....tons of work.....but we produce AAA medical quality medicine and are "clean Green Certified"

Alfonso.....after suffering a neck injury many years ago.... we started growing at that time....now I love helping patients through our growing of medical quality cannibas....it's a huge learning curve to go from growing outdoors to growing indoors....and upon deciding to make that change I sought out advise from many in the MMJ community, I met a gentleman named Chris Van Hook....who started the "Certified Clean Green" Program.........they inspected my room and all nutrients...sprays.....then my drying and trim room......the learning curve is huge again...when all your nutrients have to be OMRi certfifed.....no synethics....PERIOD......
Mr. Van Hook is an attorney.....he helped us set up our closed loop growers collective....this allowes us to make sure we are in complete compliance of 215 & 420
and make sure all paperwork is up to date.
SO....to answer your question....we are an independent growers collective ....who help patients, delivery services, and collectives
get our extra medicine to the people who really need it......As long as patients are have their doctors recommendation.....have proper ID and sign and join our collective agreement....we can help them.
The MMJ is in the very early stages of expansioin......We are in for the long term.....I myself spend over 3 hours in the grow room every day.....we have at least 4 test strains....growing at almost times.....looking for new strains....and weeding out crappy geneics......and believe me there are lots of crappy geneics out there.
Good luck New Mexico.........maybe I need to go down there and see what New Mexico has to offer the MMJ community.

Thanks for the reply weeddaddy I thought you were in N.M.Here in N.M. we only have licensed non-profit producers and no dispensaries. The program here is a lot tougher than other states.would be nice to have independent growers collectives here maybe someday will come when someone here comes up with a way to get one approved.
