I guess IB doesn't realize that there is an Air Force Base in San Angelo, so its not some backwater. Plus, I hung with people not only AF but from UT Austin. And, one day in a bar playing three ball and drinking (my drinking days), I was getting the local color and the Texas attitude from this old boy. He told me that in Texas, they make their own rules, and gave me more information about Texas then IB ever could in the short time the old boy and I talked. Frankly, the majority of the Texans I knew and had dealings with were pretty decent people. Its the state government that sucks, an it also has a class systemQuote:

I can speak a bit of Espanol, and, I always had my white Stetson on. Beat them all at pool!!!! :smokin:
Doesnt sound like you'd have any problems here. Its really no diff than anywhere else, cept the MJ laws and the peeps that back them are insane.Quote:

i was wondering why my piss has been glowing in the dark....i thought it was just too much mountain dew?!
also, i'm a texan, born and bred. and i think this state sucks. i mean i love it with all my heart, but it's in need of reformation, both on the govermental level as well as within it's social scene as well. it, like the rest of the bible belt (and America in general), needs to quit trying to impose their views on people, religious, political or otherwise. ahh, the beauty of free thought and speech, 'tis what allows such a diverse realm of opinions and points of view. and that is what we often fail to remember, that we, as Americans, stand not for our point of view, but our ability to have our own....whether it be Gypski's hating of texas/texans (not that i can recall ever seeing such) or IB's defeding of. PEACE!

Bartlesville, eh. :pimp: been there. rockin town. I love Oklahoma, too. weed laws suck balls here but other than that its pretty cool. I've never lived in Washinton but love it up there. I spent a whole summer up there with my girl friend at the time. We toured the whole State camping out in the mountains and stuff and taking the ferry to BC. Beautiful country.

Have you ever been to Woolaroc? What a museum with stuff mostly collected by the guy who started Phillips Petroleum. They even have some shrunken heads on display. A must see/stop to any one who goes to Okie. :thumbsup:Quote:

Visit Texas but for gods sake don't drink the water!
