Done:thumbsup:
thanks for telling me about the petition. good to see irish people making a stand. ill spread the word out to all of my freinds.nice to see so many irish members aswel. anyone else from near killarney or kerry? :rastasmoke: :s5:
so let let me get this right
its a petition of no value or use
on a forum where every post reaks of bacon
you want me to right my name
for the whole world to see
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahaha
try harder boys
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
The value of the petition is we need enough names to have an open debate in the dail, so it does have value, you have to start somewhere. An you donâ??t even have to put in where your from, Its your choice weather or not to put your name down but if everyone thought like you, women would still not be able to vote an slavery would be an everyday thing. Its time more people stood up an were counted.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha haQuote:

there is a long road to legalization, debate in the dail is a long way away
do some research in irish law to start
i support legalization, i love weed. Theres a drug arrest every 20 minutes in this country, we are hemorrhaging money that we need to keep our hospitals open and not more fuel for the government jet, also with less smokers in jail maybe i wouldnt have to read an article every week about a rapist or sex offender being let of or released early due to prison over crowding.Quote:

write to your td then if you think it helps
print posters busting typical weed myths and put them up
spread pro pot literature
ireland needs a NORML branch that educates people about weed and makes an effort to decriminalize at least.
this forum is filled with guards
ow and let me ask you all 1 last question
where was all your support and help when that poor girls door got kicked in, boy friend arrested and she was asking for help.
http://boards.cannabis.com/ireland/1...ease-help.html
not 1 message of help or support
do something
In an ideal world we would all be hammering down the doors of the dail demanding our right to smoke our herb in peace without the threat of prosecution. Unfortunately this is not the case in modern day eire...
I have to agree with aquagirl on this one. We must all be careful with our personal info when discussing weed etc...
Personally speaking I would love to see Ireland legalising weed but I can't honestly see it happening in my lifetime. Therefore, I would'nt be too eager to provide the guards with an easy collar if we are to believe that they monitor these forums.
IF THIS IS BEING READ BY THE GUARDS, I WOULD KINDLY ASK THEM TO DRAG YOUR ARSES TO TEMPLE BAR IN DUBLIN AND ROUND UP THE DRUG DEALERS OPENLY SELLING HEROIN, COCAINE & VARIOUS PRESCIPTION MEDICATIONS ON OUR CITY STREETS AND LEAVE US PEACEFUL TOKERS WHOM ARE HURTING NOBODY ALONE! :hippy:
I think you should take your head out of the sand and Do Something yourself..!!Quote:

Where were you when the marches needed to be organised, banners made, posters put up ??
Like the rest of the people in this country that expects everyone else to do the hard work
while you were most likely sitting at home on your ass doing nothing..!!
Signing the petition is the very least you could do, and if you want to get more involved then why
not become a member of LCI and help us get this years marches bigger and better than last years ones..??
Pay a visit to the Legalise Cannabis Ireland website and get in touch with one of us.
We need all the help we can get, and people NEED to realise this..
It's all to easy to sit back and judge what other people are or are not doing, so do something about it..
Hope to see people making that little more effort that's needed, as there's not just the
yearly marches, but fundraisers, stalls for Informing the public that we exist and don't just pop
out of the woodwork once a year to organise a march, and much more besides..
I don't use this site anymore, but i will check back to read your reply..
Peace out..
yes i really should do some thing, but marching in reality is as useful as praying, it makes you feel good but whats have you achieved? i honestly couldnt take part in the march's last year due to work, i did see a little bit of it and was impressed by the numbers, however seeing kids taking part is maybe not the best message you want to bring out.
also what other events do you guys organize? what have you achieved in the last years? do you offer support advice to arrested smokers and growers? what steps have you taken with real law makers ?
also their are 4/5 cannabis sites with a strong irish community that have no LCI presence.
as for my self in a couple of months i would be more than happy to work with you and re write the lci manifesto, the fact that other eu countries are changing shows that the recession is the perfect time to actually grab every ones attention with the lure of potential .
stuck my name down got one or two to put theres down as well and have said it around. This aint gonna help 217 names down on it now at this rate ya might get a couple of thousand by end of year and for what not many people in this country willing to stand up and stand together as one.a petition here and a couple of websites people have to unite and fight together if anything is to be done and i can never see this happening
am i blind or does the LCI website say nothing about this petition?:wtf:
Not from Ireland. How can you get it brought up for a vote. Can you get a measure on a ballot for a vote. Can it be legalized in local areas. Is it legal in Northen Ireland (sorry for my ignorance I visited but was afraid to ask). It sounds like you are making legitimate efforts. I hope something pans out soon. I am a light drinker and a chronic smoker. So being able to score marijuana in Ireland and Northern Ireland would be awesome. Keep up the steady effort and eventually good will happen.
Next visit I will brush up on my drinking first.:smokin:
i noticed myself that the petition was'ent on the LCI website, thats why i've been puttlng the word across the chatrooms until the site gets updated.the petition was started by a well respected member of LCI,look aquagirl i respect that its your choice weather you put your name down or not, but whats the story do you have something against LCI? or do you just have notthing better to do?
Would some one with a grudge offer to help? im not against them id just like some answers.Quote:

Right now we are organising fundraisers for this years march which is been held on may 8th in conjunction with Cork for the second year and were glad to announce that Belfast will be holding it first ever march on the same day..
We are still a young organisation and are getting new members (that are badly needed) all the time. When we have the members needed and some more professional people on board to help us out we will be able to do more things and help more people with advice, etc..
Please take a few minutes to check out the following links, hopefully they will give you a better understanding of our position at the moment..

I think you need to chill the fuck out, AquaGirl. Someone might think you are condecending.
lci are a load of counter productive bollocks! public smoke ins or petitions will not get it legalised the country needs be educated and realise the benefits, even manipulated to see the benefitsQuote:
