I give that as much weight as the democrats saying "lets knock down some towers and building 7, blow up the pentagon, invade afghanistan & iraq so we (democrats) can get in power during next election then we can stay there for 20 yrs saying we are un-doing the republican war machine"

Alot of the 9/11 has been debunked and no longer brought up by the 9/11 people, like the missile hitting the trade towers, or the explosives placed by the govt, which was supposedly proven by puffs of smoke exiting windows when the towers collapsed (several floors below the actualy collapsing structure) or the theory that the planes were radio controlled by a "black op" and crashed into the towers, while the original hijackers knew nothing about it. Then again the pilot who hit the pentagon, how he coulnt have done it (he had over 200 hrs flight training and all he had to do was a 330 degree turn into a building)

I can appreciate questioning authority, no way am I going to be a blind sheep but this 9/11 conspiracy stuf (in my opinion) is just that.. conspiracy theories, much like the bombing of pearl harbor to get US into WW2, or US setting a mine to blow up the
U.S.S. Maine in Cuba starting the spanish-american war. (hope I got the name of the ship correct).

If this was all orchestrated for the "neo-cons" and Bush' oil profits wouldnt he have made himself look like a hero instead of wondering what was happening as he read school books to children in florida? Wouldnt he have emerged as a strong leader and taken immediate control, instead of the process we went through?

Again if this was inside job, lots of people would have had to be in on it, by now somebody would have talked.. or did they get killed by special agents to keep things quiet?

Sorry to say this, but the 9/11 conspiracies have not been debunked. And I believe that any debunking that occured was either purposeful spreading of misinformation, accidental spreading of misinformation, or just people who could not believe that their nation was attacked by anyone other than radical islamic extremists.

Honestly, I do not believe that our government actually did it. What I believe is that the actual people that are in power did it. Our nation is no longer the real nation. What Rockefellar said is true. Our liberties are slowly being taken away under the guise of "security." Patriot Act, for instance. While it has not been used to harass any ordinary citizens, it is entirely possible for it to be done under the protection of the Patriot Act. RFID chips - which is not conspiracy theory, it has been announced to be coming out (Sometime in 2008, I heard, the act for these chips will become active, supposedly). The North American Union, which wants to create an entirely new country by combining Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.. Again, under the guise of security, and also under the guise of prosperity. All these things spawned from a supposed attack from "radical islamic extremists." While it could have entirely been done by these terrorists, I would have no doubt that it was funded by the international bankers who can profit off of war. There's a thread about the 9/11 conspiracy on International Cannagraphic, which actually shows documented evidence of all of the planning involved in it, and not from Osama Bin Laden, or anybody like that. In fact, if you've done your research, you will realize that Osama Bin Laden was actually a CIA operative during the time that he was fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan. Could he possibly have been paid off to admit that he did it (of course, after he denied doing the attacks)?

Also, the impact on The Pentagon was clearly not from a plane. No plane debris was found on the site, and there was a leaked video published quite awhile ago (the only camera that was not deactivated before the attacks, iirc) that clearly showed that it was not a plane that hit the pentagon. It clearly looked like a missile, or something of that nature. Would there really be a reason to claim it was a plane when it was not, if there was nothing to hide?

I totally believe that this war was setup on purpose, to purposely go into Afghanistan and Iraq. People profit off of wars like this, you must realize that. It allows our country to spread our power, our sphere of influence. It allows us to setup bases around the globe, and thus more power is gained. This is not a conspiracy theory, there's much evidence that shows this to be an "inside job." And while I don't think that our actualy *government* planned it, I do believe that they knew about it... and that the international bankers (the rockefellars, for instance) actually concocted this horrible tragedy.

This is not the U.S.A. "land of the free" anymore. Do not be fooled. Woodrow Wilson even wrote about this stuff. About how he made a mistake by signing the bill which stated that there could be a central bank which was privately owned by international bankers. They control our money, not our government. Control of money means control of everything. That part is proven fact (the central bank being owned by private bankers), and that once one has control of the flow of money, that person (or those people) has the ability to control everything.

According to South Park, 25 percent of the U.S. population does believe this stuff. Pretty crazy. But there's probably 25 percent of the population that believes just about anything. Hell, 25 percent of the population thinks Bush has done a grand job these last 6 or so years. That's even more incredible.

I'm not biased. I've read all the evidence related to these conspiracy theories. None of them seem credible to me. The 'Bush planned it' theory seems the least credible. Not because he's not evil enough, but because he'd have to be the smartest person ever born to pull off the biggest conspiracy in human history and still have it kept quiet. And I don't happen to believe Bush is the smartest person ever born; the evidence for that is abundant.

You might want to look up how there was a big power outage in the days before the attacks, which means no security. George Bush's cousin owned securacom, the secrity company for the world trade centers and dulles airport. You did. But the damage indicated the explosion came from the powder magazine (at the time power was in bags, rather than prefabricated shells) which rules out either a spanish or american mine. Deliberate sabotage is impossible to rule out, but static electricity is far more likely.

Trust me, 9/11 conspiracists are so sure of themselves they feel they can be assholes (sometimes, there are some respectable ones which is sad for them) and go around the truth to fit their needs. The truth is that a conspiracy that large isn't possible in today's information age. No matter what facts you show them they won't budge. Planned by George Bush himself? Nah. More like the top ranks of our government funds terrorism, and controls al-Qaeda. George Bush himself didn't plan it out. It was a group of people which conspired and planned it out, to achieve a certain political agenda. This kind of stuff is not unheard of. How do you think Hitler got into power? He conspired to commit an act just like 9/11, by concept. He blamed it on the communists, and then was later able to take power because of it. It's a bit different, but the concept is the same. Then there was WW2. America got involved because of Pearl Harbor, and we all know this. What a lot of people do not know is that FDR provoked the attacks and falsified intelligence on the matter, so that everyone would want to go into the war. That has now been proven - you can look it up. There are more instances like this, in which our government either set up a tragedy and blamed it on somebody they wanted to go to war with, or knew of an impending attack, and let it happen on purpose. This is all so the people will want to go to war with whoever "committed" the tragedy, so that the government can achieve whatever political agenda they had in mind. This is the reason why some people are very suspicious of 9/11, because it has happened before. :thumbsup:

From what I've read and remember about Prescott Bush, he didn't fund the nazis, but profitted off of them being there. He admired fascism, and even talked about having a coup in America to turn it into fascism... which seems to be happening these days.

Of course, not many believe it or are going to believe it until it's too late. It's that good old American ideology which is blinding people. I mean, duh, of course none of this could ever happen in America, land of the free. When the people don't do anything about the bad things that the government does, and when the people remain to not be active in keeping the government in check and balanced, then of course you're going to have tyrants and wannabe despots taking office. Much like if you rarely or never checked and got rid of viruses on your computer, your computer is going to get more and more of them. Until we eliminate that presumption, then we deserve what we get imho. How do they (our elected officials) really know what is best for us?
