i think i might be crazy?help?

i am scared that i might be developing early signs of schizophrenia, i def. do not want it to turn into phycosis so im so confused of wat to do, do i stop smokin M and clean up myself then go to the doctor and see wats up, or do i just smoke and wait for more sympton signs, i always have people having conversations in my head and i thought everyone was like that, so my question is like, is there somewhat of a friend in ur head that is kinda always there talkin and commentating? sorry if i sound crazy, but im really scared that this could ruin my life if not recognized early on.

also, i never had these thoughts when i take a break, i only hear my "friend" or w/e when i smoke heavily, so am i overreacting?
i guess wat i mean is this,,, is it the weed thats just makin me think funny or is it more serious than that?

However if you sincerely believe you are hearing voices, auditory hallucinations, consult a professional.

its def. not hearing voices saying bad things or anything, its just like a little commentator in my head pointing out everything and commenting and i like get into conversation with him sometimes, i have never even relized this until the other day b/c my sister said i show signs of someone scitz and ive been studying it and i do show many symptoms but it was def. not as severe as most pointed out,,, so any one else experience a "commentator" or someone talkin in convo with them in their head?

if it walks like a duck and quaks like a duck, its a duck. if you can`t tell whats real and whats not real, lay off the shit. if this does`nt help seek medical advice. peace.

If it makes you feel better, im on a adrelain rush for being up to long. It really is the insane stage :(

if your actually hearing voices id suggest going to a psycologist, but if its just an inner-monologue(thinking out conversations) thats normal.

What if your inner monologue doesnt sound like you. Like mabe it's like an alieney voice, or say even a bears growling voice?
Would you be crazy then?
Can you have multipul voices?

How about a coughy throat. Would the person with an inner monologue of themselves with a scrathcy throat be sane?

How about if the voice that was coughy. Would occasionaly cough at will, or even another voice called will, say they had dispute.... No im not will, what are you thinking?!

Or cought harshly or softly depending on weather or not you appease the coughing mono-logue? What if you caughed every time the innner monologe became unclear, your throat would itch? Or even cough every time you go to do somethign important, and the caugh goes to interupt you. What if it's your caugh and you have no way to prove that the caoughing consious exists, since it's you thats coughing?

Can you have many different voices, but the voices be your own? Say one has a stuffy nose, another a skratch throat, one a lisp? Can you still be qualified as not "crazy"?

Or says you've sounded like these voices at some point in your life. Say you had a lisp when you were growing up, or a cough, and now no longer have it. Can you have an old scratchy voice and a clear one? How many versions can you monologue have? What if they have personalities? What if the personality is your personality though? I'm talking to you...

You'll be just fine. In fact a buddy of mine just asked me the other day weather or not other people had inner monologues. We were cahtting about it for awhile. I say relax.

Mabe you should even clean up for a month or two, then go to the docs'. And if theres no hurry, make it a period of time you have no money anyhow.

my inner-monologue consists of me, some friends, love interests(when masterbating). Some times ill have strange voices like mickey mouse, old roman soilders(what i think theyd sound like), people on tv, the people i stalk, but i consider them all part of my overall inner monologue because i control what they say and in the voice they say it in, can anyone else do this, is there something wrong with me?

If you control the voice, i say it's all good. I have conversations in my head too, like i'll think something and then think what I think someone else would say back and so on.

But, if it causes you distress, maybe you should consult someone about it, who actually knows what they are talking about, just for your own peace of mind.

my nan was skits before she died..... you aint going skits, i have thoughts like that.... i always wonder if im going mad, and i am shit scared of ending up like my nan... i had to live with her for 2 years after my grandad passed away..... 2 years of her screaming in the night cuz she heard knocking on her door, she got it into her head that it was my dad, and that he was trying to kill her.... she used to hear music and see things all the time, and she was convinced they were real..... when ur skits, u dont acknowledge that u r, u just think u r normal, they dont see anything wrong with how they think....
everyone is 'mad' in there own way.... no1 is what you would call normal....

there isnt anything wrong with any of you..... the weed is making you paranoid about yourself.....

voices here voices there im sure it's nothing i do the same thing just all the time it helps to see things as the person talking to u will but then i guess most pll dont plan out their conversations while haveing them...acctualy i think i should see someone about this...

I'd take everyone's advice who said lay of the weed for a while. You are also the one who thought that your friend was a cop after an inoccent convo, right? Sorry, but that's not usual behavior.

i ddnt realise that you were the person that thought your mate was a cop... i think then maybe you should lay off the weed for a while... see how your feeling after a month or two off the weed, if you are still worried when ur completely teetotal, then i would go seek help and advice. but i am sure that you are/will be ok :)

thanks alot everyone for all the help and advice, i seriously do appreciate it, i dont think im gonna take a long but im def. gonna cut down, i smokin 2 bowls of some dank-ass crazy shit everyday, so im gonna cut down to only hittin it once or twice a week, and im gonna go talk to a doctor soon, but i do just think its the weed b/c just a lil while ago i took over a month break and no voices, thoughts, or anything i felt weird, so i gotta lay off, thanks alot and anyone else got any experiences feel free to post!

yeah the weed is just making you over paranoid about yourself, and you are probably very introspective and i hear the same kind of voices and inner dialogue and i have been very very scared and tripped out befoer, but don't worry, just get sober tfor a few hours and you'll realize everything is all good :)

Yea i talk to myself all the time in my head. And im a little telepathic so sometimes i talk to euphoric too. I think if it's only happening when you're on the spiff, then never you mind. Probably just high times :)

I say take a breather from pot, talk to a doctor. I'm sure you are just fine, I have a friend and her brother has schizophrenia and he was told pot makes it worse. I wish you the best of luck and keep us posted :)

that last statement speaks for its self my friend.....I have dealt with mental health issues for nigh on 20 years in a professional and non professional capacity and a high number of patients that have came through our doors have drug induced psychosis when the effects of the drug has diminished they return to "their normal" very quickly soooooooo I would say lay off it for a little while and see how you go as the last thing you want is to have a label of mental illness attached as the a great deal of the general public still fear and shun people with mental health.......Ps take care off yourself.

Voices used to tell me that if I didn't do something then me or someone I knew would get hurt when I was younger. After a while I just stopped listening and I turned out fine for the most part.

Everyone has their own mind talking back to them. The problem is when it's telling you to do things you know are not right or that might harm you. There are a few things you must asses and one will be if this is your age or your mind. The best way to do this is a MIR. brain imaging. If you are indeed schizophrenic there will be a patten of a large butterfly shape ontop of your brain. So go and get checked and stop worrying till you know. Could all be a waste of time.
