Seriously, has this community not noticed the direction these boards have taken lately? You do remember this is a community, where we're supposed to be friends, right? Lately I just can't believe how harsh so many people have become around here, how quickly they jump on somebody for anything and everything. Every single time in recent history that somebody has posted about a problem they're dealing with, you get maybe 10% of the replies offeing help and advice, and all the rest are people saying "oh get the fuck over it you little bitch / You think you have it so tough, well.... / oh boohoo, you're an idiot because.....". It makes me wonder if I accidentially stumbled into crackhead forums instead!


Look, I know there a lot of great members here still, and I'll bet even a lot of the ones who act as I described are good people, but misguided. But seriously you guys, we all need to step back and really take a look at the environment we're creating here. Everybody has problems, 99.999997% of us aren't enlightened masters who know how to deal with everything the right way, a lot of the members are teenagers still learning how to deal with the day-to-day crap in life. So get over it, because we're all human and all fallable. When you attack somebody all you do is cause them to throw up a defense barrier and not listen to what your saying; in the meantime you contribute to the hate in this world, and believe me there's already more than enough.

How about we accept that we're all fallable, nobody knows how to deal with everything, but together we all know how to deal with a piece of everything. That's why we should help each other out, 'cause I guarantee you that where you know everything about dealing with something, the other person knows plenty about something you know nothing about.

i suppose there are those who had a bad day and they are probably the type to take out their anger which makes them feel better at the end. I totally not the type to make someone feel worse when they're already feeling bad. You can even check my posts. I suppose there are only a few hippies left on these boards, you know Peace, Love and Happiness. I totally agree with you, Mr. Devious.

I'm starting to learn that on the internet, even the nicest people can turn into the biggest cuntalopes. I don't understand the transformation myself, but as far as things like this go, all we can really do is sit back and try to ignore the flammers, at most throw some postive vibes their way every now and then. I don't know if the boards have changed much since i haven't really been around, but i know i once posted a simular topic, and a lot of the old timers explained to me that the assholes were always around, you just tend to notice them more from time to time.

As much as i want to be logical and explain this away, its always kind of bugged me that a website full of refugees and outlaws can't just mellow out and talk about the daily grind with each other without getting angry.

That's true. Even I have had to learn to learn not to come on the boards when I'm in a bad mood, or just really depressed, because I'll end up getting pissed at some stupid little thing and turn into a total asshole before I even realize it. Luckily I seem to be out of my despondant funk, and I've realized something that I had long forgotten; it's not about you, it's about the effect you have on those around you. I want to put every ounce of effort into only being a possitive force in this world. Hope I can carry that out at least most of the time.

I noticed that aswell 'if you have nothing nice to say then dont post' simple as that.

Most infact about 90% of the people here are laid back and friendly but you do get the odd prick lurking around the forums that just wants to cause trouble.

Well I think the big, main point of this thread here, is we need to stop being so damn critical of each other. Nobody knows where the other is coming from, what they know, what they're capable of, why their mindstate is where it's at. Lets just help one another :)

Yeah I agree with that completely. I've only witnessed a few misunderstandings on this forum but most of them come from people who seem to have something better than the next person and I guess they see it right to try to talk about them to make them selves feel better lol. Most arguments I've ever see has been in the Cannabis Pictures forums when the thread contains something about "purp" in it. Oh my fucking God just thinking about "purp" is almost as annoying as "dro" at this point.

Trust me, this board is a LOT better than this one particular Marilyn Manson forum (The Heirophant...anyone else a member?), where most members are a bunch of high-strung coke fiends who have nothing better to do than put each other down and stroke the egos of more senior members. Hell, even I've been a huge douche on that board sometimes.

But this? This is awesome. There's more equality, and everyone's a lot friendlier and a lot more chill. Yeah, even though I've only been here little over 24 hours, and I've witnessed a few uncool responses and such, but for the most part, this is totally the best place on the Internet...aside from Demonoid, but that's for other reasons.

I agree man, I left some other forums I frequented for 2 years because they got so miserably hostile. But I also remember, over the 2 1/2 years I've been here, that this place was at a much higher standard than it currently is. I see from the responses here though, that many here still live up to that standard, and kuto's to them.:jointsmile:

This is defintely the chillest forum I belong to. Most of the peolple that start shit on here don't last long anyway. It's inevitable there's gonna be kids on here saying stupid shit, all we can do is ignore them. For the regulars here that start shit, they need to meditate on devious's posts in this thread.

i agree, we are all people and we just need to respect each other...
i think its the golden rule that says "treat people how you want to be treated" and i think people should follow that shit on here...
