Seriously, has this community not noticed the direction these boards have taken lately? You do remember this is a community, where we're supposed to be friends, right? Lately I just can't believe how harsh so many people have become around here, how quickly they jump on somebody for anything and everything. Every single time in recent history that somebody has posted about a problem they're dealing with, you get maybe 10% of the replies offeing help and advice, and all the rest are people saying "oh get the fuck over it you little bitch / You think you have it so tough, well.... / oh boohoo, you're an idiot because.....". It makes me wonder if I accidentially stumbled into crackhead forums instead!


Look, I know there a lot of great members here still, and I'll bet even a lot of the ones who act as I described are good people, but misguided. But seriously you guys, we all need to step back and really take a look at the environment we're creating here. Everybody has problems, 99.999997% of us aren't enlightened masters who know how to deal with everything the right way, a lot of the members are teenagers still learning how to deal with the day-to-day crap in life. So get over it, because we're all human and all fallable. When you attack somebody all you do is cause them to throw up a defense barrier and not listen to what your saying; in the meantime you contribute to the hate in this world, and believe me there's already more than enough.

How about we accept that we're all fallable, nobody knows how to deal with everything, but together we all know how to deal with a piece of everything. That's why we should help each other out, 'cause I guarantee you that where you know everything about dealing with something, the other person knows plenty about something you know nothing about.

i suppose there are those who had a bad day and they are probably the type to take out their anger which makes them feel better at the end. I totally not the type to make someone feel worse when they're already feeling bad. You can even check my posts. I'm starting to learn that on the internet, even the nicest people can turn into the biggest cuntalopes. I don't understand the transformation myself, but as far as things like this go, all we can really do is sit back and try to ignore the flammers, at most throw some postive vibes their way every now and then. I don't know if the boards have changed much since i haven't really been around, but i know i once posted a simular topic, and a lot of the old timers explained to me that the assholes were always around, you just tend to notice them more from time to time.

As much as i want to be logical and explain this away, its always kind of bugged me that a website full of refugees and outlaws can't just mellow out and talk about the daily grind with each other without getting angry.

but hey, i had my fair share of asshole posts myself.

That's true. Even I have had to learn to learn not to come on the boards when I'm in a bad mood, or just really depressed, because I'll end up getting pissed at some stupid little thing and turn into a total asshole before I even realize it. Luckily I seem to be out of my despondant funk, and I've realized something that I had long forgotten; it's not about you, it's about the effect you have on those around you. I want to put every ounce of effort into only being a possitive force in this world. Hope I can carry that out at least most of the time.

Most infact about 90% of the people here are laid back and friendly but you do get the odd prick lurking around the forums that just wants to cause trouble.
