It would be alot easier if we had more info, i.e ph,type of soil, light schedule, watering schedule, possibly some pictures taken closer so as to see detail ect. I little more info and i am sure everybody will chime in with their knowledge.

soil type is miracle gro organic, the light schedule is 24/7, i water them bout everyday to ensure the soil stays moist...i'll get working on some pics but the ph seems fine...1st indoor grow and i'm going with all the book knowledge i can find...sometimes things just don't work out the way u read it,,,thanks for the help all i'll get some pics that are closer

24/7 could be the problem...plants need darkness to develope the roots

Watering every day is probably too much. that may be what's holding them back

ok, so i'm using MG organic potting soil, with about 25-30% added mg perlite for aeration and drainage...so i transplanted into bigger pots and like a dummy fed them forgetting the new mg organic was packed with nutes...i've flushed 3x in the last week but my plants are all still very droopy and sick looking...the lower leaves have all turned yellow and the top leaves turn to the ground...what else can i do...i have a ph tester on the way...please help and i'll get some pics soon

Click on the link in my sig and see if you can track down general overnute problem and what to do about it. Good guide to plant problems.

Im a little worried that you have done too many things....flush here....add nutes there....so it's kind of hard to say. My first guess would be ph problems......leading to problems with everything else. You NEEd to check ph because if it is wrong nothing else you do will help.....just make things worse
do you have some sort of pet store or something near you? They have very cheap ph testers you can buy in an emergency. However.....do NOT use anything for fish to adjust your ph....only to test it.

well i'm gonna get the ph test tomorrow...but the plants look better than yesterday after the 1/4 of pro blend, think i may go with an 1/4 strength of pure blend and see what happens...its my 1st indoor grow and i'm totally lost...figure trial and error is also a good tool for learning...outside i've never really had problems but then again i wasn't using small containers w/ 24/7 lighting...thinking maybe an hour or two of darkness may help but i'd prefer to stay on the 24/7...any ideas?

Well you could do it either way....I don't think that is your issue here but whichever you decide don't change it around or you will really confuse them.
Definitely check ph when you can. As for your nutes.....are you using the pro blend grow? You aren't using the bloom stuff are you? I have that stuff for my hydro....there should be directions on back of bottle. 1/4 strength sounds good...if they do well with it over a week or so perhaps go to 1/2. I don't have my bottle but if they say use it everytime go with that....or however often they say.

yea it says to use it everytime, i was concerned that might be too much...i'll take the advice and try another 1/4 and see what happens...its the grow blend that i've been using...got a mannix pocket ph tester coming and will let you know the results...should get here sometime this week

ok good.....I don't know what the proper ph for soil is but I'm sure you can find it here on these boards.....maybe you already know.
Good luck! :)

you cant really flush miracle grow becouse it's time released.....the upside is that you dont really need any nute's at all for the first 60 days....at which point your half way thru flower and start up a lite flower nute mix.check your PH,dont overwater,no nute's yet. BTW proper soil ph is 6.8

set your light to 18/6 on/off time ..your wastin electricity, and plants do need a nite cycle.

ok so i got a rapitest at the moment until my digital tester comes...tested the soil and it ranges b/t 5-5.5...how can i bring this up...i know ph up would work but what about coffee grounds...any ideas on how much coffee ground to add to 10in. pots in order to raise the ph...any advice would be great
-
seedlings seems stuck
oh i also have some miracle grow plant food and tomato food which i understand are both pretty acidic
-
seedlings seems stuck
i know realize that 5-5.5 means it is acidic...my question now is which do you guys prefer to raise the ph...should i go with lime or the product ph up?
-
seedlings seems stuck
Curious Im sorry but I cannot help you with your ph question because I do not know how to accomplish that in soil. If you want to change the ph of your WATER that you water them with this is how....but I am not sure if it is the water or the soil itself that needs to be exact.
To raise ph in water use baking soda (I would NOT put baking soda in your soil curious!)
To lower ph you can use distilled white vinegar....again not something I would add to the soil itself.

ok, so i watered them last nite, used two gallons of water with about 2 tbsp. of baking soda...hope it helps raise the ph in the soil...i have some earthjuice ph up on the way...hope the baking soda water helps until the ph up from earthjuice arrives

You need to test the water. MG soil is always on the acidic side because of all of the additives they put into it which is why it's a poor choice for our uses and has been mentioned as one to avoid countless times on every grow site. And adding ferts to MG soil is a very bad idea, especially when the plants are seedlings and shouldn't be in such rich soil in the first place. All the water you've been adding will only increase your problems as the roots need to breathe and also the excess water will "open" the time-released ferts to only add to what's already in there!

ok so the mg was a bad idea...i'm using miracle gro organic because i thought it was a good choice...this is what the site says about the organic choice...
This product is regionally formulated with organic materials (derived from one or more of the following: forest products, peat humus, or compost) sphagnum peat, composted manure (in Florida, cow manure) and pasteurized, pelleted poultry litter.
Total nitrogen (N) â?? .10% â?? (This product contains .097% slow available nitrogen.)
Available phosphate (P2O5) â?? .05%
Soluble potash (K2O) â?? .10%
My question is was this a bad choice...i thought mg organic would eliminate the problems associated w/ regular miracle grow....btw does that mean the soil is 10-5-10 or 1-.5-1...thanks for any advice and let me know what you think about this soil choice

Yes, you will want to use that earthjuice next time! I used baking soda and it threw my ph out of whack. Not stable? I don't know. Keep us updated!

I just saw your new question....i read it in indoor growing too. I'm using mg organic in one plant and haven't had any probs yet, but i've only been in a week. If you are using ph correct water, there really shouldn't be issues.
Stinky told me to ck my soil ph before I plant in it to see it's ph. that was excellent advice that I will never forget!
