If you died and came back as an animal what would it be and why

A blue heron- steady diet of fish, social, look like dinosaurs, hang out near the water, protected from hunting, not many natural enemies, spend winters where it's warm and summers in New England... could be worse.

Why?

A few reasons:

The Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal on the planet in its hunting dive, the stoop, in which it soars to a great height, then dives steeply at speeds of over 200 mph (322 km/h) into either wing of its prey, so as not to harm itself on impact.

It's an endagered species currently in restoration. Screw with it and you are in BIG trouble.

It's a small beautiful mysterious bird that's extremely fast and VERY smart.

there's a mated pair of peregrines at UMass- they have been nesting on the library for years- they are beautiful and their cries are so eerie, echoing off the tall buildings.
but you would have to eat pigeons... eww

My choices would be either dolphin, kangaroo, or platypus. The platypus is an odd and cute little creature, a hybrid of land and sea. The kangaroo kicks ass at kicking ass. Dolphins are smarter than humansâ??they rule the world!
