Looks awesome BigTops, I never got around to doing a scrog on my PPP. But I am hoping to still have a decent harvest off her.
You should Reveg that Tw, It will make for one hell of a scrog, With plenty of shoots, And they grow fast as long as you have root room.:thumbsup:

As for the nutes, start with quarter or half strength and work up gradually. Give her plain ph'd water every now and then. If the plant looks healthy, keep doing what you're doing.

looking great Finn! i've noticed the same thing about the TW. nice, tight buds. on irydyums last grow, his TW wasn't topped or anything and their were 30+ supplemental nuggets and a huge softball sized main cola. very nice indeed. i've get 4 TWs in flower at the moment. can't wait to see what they do!

Are you currently looking at the trichomes??...if so, when did you start?
I'm at 4 wks and I see cloudy triches everywhere at 30x pocket microscope.
Scroggin definitely ups the yield but also the workload:(

Yeah not much work now but just wait until harvest. The TW is going to need one hell of a trimming compared to the MS. But that's OK, I'll make some really good cake from all those bud leaves :jointsmile:

You can see the bleached buds are getting bigger. Still have trichomes and everything, just look a little strange.
What do you normally harvest per watt? Or what is the best you have done? I usually do not ask harvest questions but your grow is very impressive when it comes to efficiency.

Only my third grow, and haven't had the chance to maximize my light/grow area :( My last grow I got about 110+grams from 2 plants in a 3.5 sq. ft. scrog with a 400w hps and a poor growing effort. I'm hoping for much more from these 2 I have now... We'll see in a few weeks :)Quote:

Man Finn i really like the scrog TW project you have pretty much perfected:hippy:. It really makes me want to try it, just not sure i could do all the tie downs. I saw someone mention doing a re vegged plant and iv got 3i had plans to put outside this year. Iv seen them turn into giant bushes outdoors on some other site. If i did get that sort of results a screen covering the hole thing just might be a good idea. This plant is throwing out branches pretty good, so if i can get it taller i might be able to try it. That ScrOG is a thing of beauty! Can't wait to see it finish up. Bet you feel the same. Nice work there. Have a look at the root ball when all is said and done. I'll be curious to know if they are bound in the pots. It might explain the discolored leaves. A bound root system is not as efficient and can't hold the water or nutes long enough to get what is required. You know this of course but I'm curious to know if that is the issues.

Oh no. 5 gallon pots are more than sufficient. That is not the issue. 3 gallons is sufficient for most indoor grows. It is hard to assess the size of those buckets from the picture.

MS now at 11+ weeks, fattened up but still looks like it could go a little more.
TW looks almost done. Mostly cloudy, 5% amber with a clear one here or there... Might chop her tomorrow.

Would you give us a peak under the skirt so we can see the underside of the scrog? Just curious.
How much longer are you going to let them go?
Finn, as you've seen, my grows look finished when they get close to done. Fried yellow, brown/pruple leaves, No green leaves, not hardly any white pistils. Man, I grown long flowering strains, I know that, but it seems all my plants are wellripened when I pick 'em. Your's look like they are still growing. Maybe it's me.???

Not sure i could do one, but im going to give er hell to try. Just looks so healthy and huge. I wonder if ya grew one with out the scrog, just to see the yield difference. Hey LSY, Bigsby and Shov, I'd like to leave them another week if they need it. I think the TW can be picked any day now, but the MS might want a little longer. I've also been using plenty of nutrients up until the last couple waterings, so maybe they weren't using stored energy (??). We're supposed to get some hot weather in the next few days, don't know how hot that cab is gonna get either :( Just have to take it day by day, but they need to be jared up by the 25th (maintenance is coming in).
nice lookin...so that means chopped and hung 16th or 17th to get jarred...looks like a sticky finger session is coming in the near future! :smokin:

Got some pics of the MS, 12+ weeks now. Still looks like it's pushing out new growth, very little. Some amber, mostly cloudy, some clear still. Still debating when to chop, I have 8 days until they need to be jarred up.
Hey Str8, about that time, still don't want to chop! It's pretty dry here, maybe I can get away with 4 days drying before jarring if I cut the buds to dry in smaller pieces???Quote:

Some pics of below the screen as requested. I was about to harvest today, started by cutting off the screen and afterward decided to let it go for a day or two more.
Been really hot here. No AC in the house, so the growroom is now our second sauna :D Growth has slowed down but still going strong.
Couple more days and they will be week 5 flower, But I transplanted towards 2nd week and they took 7-10 days before they started doing anything again. I plan to let them run at least until week 9, But my Power Thai.. "Mao Thai X PPP" will go at least until week 11-13. Pics will come when it is over and I feel safe to post them up.:thumbsup:

MS looks pretty good, threw out some nanners but looked sterile. TW felt a little spongy but maybe it's' because it was so hot and dried out?
I'm a bit disappointed because they didn't get to finish properly IMO. Weather got too hot (pretty hot for Finland this time of year) and I have no AC in the house :( I think if the temps stayed a little cooler, the yield would have been much better, and may have finished in the time I had hoped.
The TW took about 3 times longer to trim :eek:
I'll get some more pics when they are dry :jointsmile:

Hey LSY thank you very much, it's nice to hear. Couldn't have done it without the help of this site. I don't know when I'll be able to grow again, but I'll probably be checking in if and when it happens. I have some promising genetics already and new things to try, like vertical and coco :cool:
Yes the site can help a lot Finn, but a person needs to understand how to use it. Your a great example of it and id like to think that i use it to my best ability, but im quite a bit behind yet. Not that i believe il improve, but i guess i feel lucky enough to meet the true good people on this site like yourself to get the information i need to get there. Hey Buf! Here it is:
Trainwreck Final Dry weight: 101 grams
It dried out in less than three days but since the nugs are so dense and tight they have been slowly drying in the jars. Took them out yesterday for the pics to give them one last good airing before I have to seal them up for a week.
Now just over a week since chopping, but not much on the flavor or aroma yet. Has a similar 'sweet' smell as the ones I grew before. I'll try and report back in a week or so. I've been smoking the popcorn and more than satisfied so far :stoned:
