I was you a week ago. Believe me, I was feelin' ya. You've been practicing; so you have better odds of passing the test. You'll be confident of passing the test in no time.Quote:

if i don't pass this i will be devestated because it looks good on the home tests.
If you followed the home tests correctly, then you should be in the clear. I hope things went well with your test. Let us know how it went!!!Quote:

i can't imagine it coming up positive or positive dilute after passing at least 7 home tests, but, i am nervous anyway.
now the wait. i hate this.
When mine came up non negative they did send it in for another test. Im not sure if it was gc/ms or something else. I also thought that only positive results would be sent to gc/ms for confirmation.
FBR or Killerweed do you guys have any insight on this?
everything i have read states that a negative dilute is a negative -not a positive that would be "confirmed"
hell, DOT guidelines do not state that a negative dilute be sent on for another test
now, a positive dilute is sent on for confirmation.
i hate this waiting.
and what was the result, and what were the circumstances? were you using full blown dilution? were you passing home tests?Quote:

i have to think i was less dilute.
worst case scenario - i fail and keep my job as a consultant. it is not the end of teh world
i am more concerned that because i am in the education field, the emp. would report a fail to the state licensing board.
i think the only way i would fail is if a neg. dilute went onto a gc/ms, and i could not pass the lower limit.
I don't think there are any rules for going to GC/MS. An employer can send them right to GC/MS if they want and bypass immunassay. There are just different levels for confirmation on the 2 tests. The only reason they don't go directly to GC/MS is because of the added costs. DOT related jobs follow different guidelines but for a standard pre-employement UA the employer can do just about anything they want.
