You couldnt of said it better your self. Who do you think the judge will really bealive. It's not like your going to have it on video to prove you said it. Police work for the judges. They are there to arrest and prosicute.

even if that happens, your lawyer can call for something...forgot what its called but it basically renders the evidence not usable because the reason for searching was unjustified.
