i had a slight change of plans for my little clones. I'll just say they live........for now. the other plants went peacefully. the reservoir was full of roots and then some, (possible reason for crazy stretch). the deceased plants were still developing shoots like crazy, couldve taken some clones, but i didnt. the little clones came from an actual mother plant that i had. I'll problaly start some seeds when i feel like it, just to find a suitable female, for cloning purposes. I want her to be vigorous and branchy and low maintenance. I've got my cloning technique down purty good, now to get my finishing technique just as good. like the title says, I couldnt let it go entirely. The roots on the clones hadnt started poking through the plastic basket yet so i saw it as a chance to move them into something that wont allow it to develop as big a root system, like 20 oz. water bottles with the tops cut off and a bunch of holes poked in the bottom, I put a mix of perlite and peatmoss with a lttle soil, for micronutes, in the bottles and placed the coco cups in the bottles, roots were starting to poke out the bottom of the coco cups. When the roots fully engulf the bottles the only way to sustain them would be to constantly supply oxygen to them with an air wand, which is running 24/7. I'll keep ya'll posted on their progress. No pics for awhile, I'm feeling superstitious. Ha!

well guys, I scored me a good bag of some piney compressed stuff, and i'm fooking ripped, ahhhh, just what I needed. I was impressed enough with my score, that i'm gonna use the seeds to find my special lady. The buds were huge and seedy, but not to the point that the seeds entirely took all the bud, which is a plus and the buds are full of red hairs. The bud wasnt compressed to the point of it being a brick, so the seeds are very usable. I'm definitely gonna keep these separate from my other seeds. I've only kept seeds separate one other time, and dont know what I did with those other seeds:o
my current grow is going fine, the roots are already filling up their little bottles and their starting their stretch, where they finish they're stretch, is the main concern. I'll keep ya'll posted, I have the babys under 10,000 lumens of 27k fluorscents and my resevoir has superthrive, earthjuice, and a little calmag for nutes.

just checked my patients and they're thriving in their little pots, growing like weeds. The roots are developing all the way down to the bottom of the 'pots', about 2" below the water line. I have switched to air stones from the air wand I had previously.
I have noticed some 'suspicious' growths on these patients, i will be keeping an eye or two on them.
I also threw a bean in a pot, something I want to work on. I problaly would get way better chances if i throw more but i want to take it slow and study it a bit. dont know why. oh well.

the suspicious growth I encountered turned out to be nodes and the clones are starting to preflower.

hey people, just to give an update, my flowering ladies are still alive and doing well. I've been pretty busy lately, and havnt had much time to get on the boards. I'm looking to this friday to post some pics. just to let ya'll know, my ladies did stretch quite a bit, but not at the rate and height of my previous "jungle". I managed to put a screen over them and bend them over quite a bit. I'm gonna keep weaving and tying the developing nodes through the screen to maximize bud potential.

Heres this weeks update on my scrog, which is looking purty good. I did some light pruning to open up some budsites to the light. I noticed some resin production starting up on some of the budlings. I figure i'm about a month and half from finishing, hopefully.

heres a photo of my seedling, its recovering from some crispy leaves, I was vegging it 24/0 with a 55w 2700k cfl. I've finally got around to putting a timer on it and I got a fan circulating the air around the cab. I found my long lost vegging light today, so I changed the bulb. Its a 30w 5000k cfl. It runs cooler than the 55w and gives it a way better color for vegging. Oh, i've switched my lighting schedule to 18/6. One more thing I found today, was the seeds I set aside, from my very first grow.
