Its time to control alt delete the old grow log and start fresh. heres a few pics of my beans in the "time chamber". I've I.D.'ed 2 females so far, theres a pic of one of em, and i'm still not sure about the other 4, though 3 of them are leaning toward male tendencies and 1 of em isnt showing me much, as with everything else I do, I want to be absolutely sure. The seeds I used are little collection I've aquired from all the bags I've found in the past year. They each have somewhat different characteristics and different smells. I have no idea what they are or where they came from, all I know is I never paid more than 60 an oz. I once lived in a city where beans were abundant and cheap. Then I moved somewhere, thats notorious for smoke, yet extremely unreliable. Hence I had to grow my own beans.

Also those plants are looking great, what are you giving them P-K-N? Looking right healthy.
What kind of lighting are they under and how long have they been vegging for?

10-5-14 maxigro at 1/4 strength for their first nuting only, really jump starts the growth, I used this on my first grow which was a hydro bubbler setup, easy to use
10-2-1 mexican bat guano for vegging 1/3 strength
.5-12-.2 indonesian bat guano for vegging and flowering 1/3 strength, I'll be upping it to full strength soon
2-0-0 Cal Mag Plus, just got it
humus concentrate, i used rainwater to make the mix, then I only use 1 oz. per gallon of water, I use it for every third gallon of water i mix for the beans
Superthrive
2 day old tap water
1 5000k 30w cfl for vegging
1 2200k 150w hps for flowering, next grow will have a better bulb
1 2700k 125w mogul fluorescent for vegging and flowering
2 15w 18" 5000k tube fluorescents for side lighting

this past saturday, I came to the final conclusion that I had 2 females and 4 males. Sooooooo, I decided to repot my females, I figured it was still early enough and I have given them enough high phosphorus guano to handle the transplant. I went from 6" to 8" pots. Also I stapled a screen over the tops and was able to weave the tops in. I placed a resevoir in the box so I can over water my plants without worrying about getting my wires wet.
Yesterday, I started to adjust the weaving on one of the plants when it snapped. Oddly enough, the exact same thing happened on my first grow. After doing some thinking, I made a makeshift pot with a water bottle by cutting it in half, then I made some small holes in the cap. I took the bottom of the water bottle and I cut some holes in it, put the top part of the water bottle and stuck it in the bottom half, filled it with soil/perlite mix and planted the broken top in the soil after soaking it in superthrive. I placed the pot in the resevoir and filled it to a level that was a 1/2" above the overfill tray on the 8" pots, I busted out my air wand and my ole air pump and proceeded to place it around the water bottle so I'm running a hydro/soil setup now. Its gonna be a slow process to root the broken top, if it takes root at all. I know Its best to use some kind of rooting hormone, but I'm broke and I used this method once and it worked. I'll post pics later this week, since I dont want to jinx it. Now if this "clone" makes it, then I'll have a perfect candidate for a mother plant!!
I am not going to continue with the big fluorescent since I dont like the heat it creates, yes I said heat. I would rather go with the heat of the 150w hps and side tubes. :glugglug:

Well, its friday, and its time for some photos, and an update on the progress of my ladies. You'll see how I weaved one baby, another one broke when I tried to adjust it, but it broke right where two nodes had sprouted. The last three days have had phenomenal growth from those 2 nodes and the lower nodes are reaching for the screen. The same thing happened on my last grow. On my untopped plant the main node has really thickened up and some side nodes have really opened up. My best guess is the addition of the air pump has really helped the grow, sort of put it into another gear. Now the broken top seems to be coming along alright, i'm gonna try to get me some wood for my ole grow box, this weekend, I wanna separate it from the flowering plants after sunday and put it into veg, if I cant get the materials, I'll just put it into a corner in my closet and put my 30w flo on it. the clone was in pretty bad shape when it broke, I let it sit for about an hour as I thought about what to do with it, so what you see is about a 100% improvement from what it was. If she makes it, she'll hopefully be the mother of many clones.

Heres some pics of my in-flower ladies. Compare the first photo in the last post to the first one in this post, It floored me today when I opened up the time machine. theres some preflowers showing on one of the pics, you can barely make em out, but their there. the fourth pic shows the second set of nodes on the topped plant reaching for the screen.

After I took the last set of pics I decided to LST the ladies, its helping expose the other bud sites to more light and keeping the top from getting to close to the "heat zone" of the hps, the last two pics show the difference in the ladies.

I've finally got the last 18" ww fluorescent I wanted for my box. I forgot I had a 55w 2700k so I put in my mogul to medium adapter and screwed it into the fixture I had my big 125w flo in. So now I'm running 265 watts of light. The scrog LST and air wand have really put this grow into overdrive.

Heres some pics. As you can tell I scrogged and LST'd as much as I could on my "sativa". The stretching is slowing a bit, but i'm keeping a close eye on em. The "indica" has made significant progress since I topped it accidently. I figured the top broke off when I tried to bend it some more cause it had started to slow down and harden off, it did show sex sooner than the "sativa". The pistils on the "indica" are a bit stubbier and stout than those of the "sativa", which are thin and wispy. I plan on mounting some computer fans on the light fixures, so I can have some air blowing across the top
