Sure shows like Cops are funny, but notice how they rarely show scenerios where the cops are fighting actual crime.
Its always drugs, prostitution or the occassional domestic disputes where someone is drunk.

You have to watch those shows like Real TV or Cop car chases to see cops try and fight crime. They don't fight crime very well, they just react to it.

ive always been able to outrun cops, unlike on tv.

That's because most people do outrun them. They only show the successful or disasterous ones on TV, and then the narrator says something cheesy, "these criminals thought they could get away from their ticket, but all they got was a ticket to prison" or something stupid like that.

right...its funny.

Of course it is funny, when it isnt you.
Well..when I saw it later I would probably get a good laugh out of it.
