My conditioning doesnt allows me to do it, cause my mind thinks im dreaming, even if i know im awake, but stoned... :stoned:
EDIT: BTW i dont think lucid dreaming should be in the spirituality sub forum... i dont think it is a "spiritual" thing... but surely the mods have a different opinion about this...
So many things to say...kinda.
Well i have had one lucid dream i can distincly remember. I just remember it was a bad dream, i relized it, and then me and all my friends just walked off into the distance, i could see myself. Wee looked like backstreet boys or someone of that nature, with a big spot light infront of us, casting our shadowy outlines. I didnt choose to do this, but i must admit, i felt like a total badass(this was when i was like 10 or 11 mind you:D)
I almost had a lucid dream once. Let me explain. I dont remember what i was dreaming about prior to the incident, but i was in some sort of library when i noticed i was dreaming. The first thing i do is try to make a geometric shape with my hand, but it doesnt work....?! I look around and all these old librarian ladies are staring me down, and all the scenery turned white expect for the librarians. They all asked in a harmonistic tone "What are you doing? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO!!". The voice frightened me so much i wish myself awake (thank god that worked!)
Also, i have the disease sleep paralysis. For those of you who dont know, its where you become comepletely paralyzed except for your lips (but you cant speak (or yell)) and eyes. At least for me. It occurs before you fall asleep and right after you wake up. Also, during the paralyzed time, I am bombarded with hullucinations, visual and auditory, sometimes both, sometimes one. For me, this happens at least 2-3 times a week. At first it freaked me out, but i am now used to it, most of the time anyways.
I have seen very random things, that really mean nothing to me. I have also seen scary thing like "wind spirits" beating me up. I wouldnt say that it hurt, but i was aware they were hurting my body and was scared. I also see old pets that have passed staring at me when i open my eyes.
The most profound expirience was my first out of body expirenece from this ailment. I was sitting in the chair and felt pressure on my ribs, and suddenly popped out of my chair (yes i was sleeping in a recliner) into the air, sitting in the same position. I had no control over where i went, and i kinda just fell to my right, and halfway through a table like a ghost before i just snapped out of it. Was pretty crazy. The brain does strange things.:rastasmoke:
Man... i dont think sleep paralysis is a disease... i know its related to the ability to have out-of-body-experiences, like, it happens when your consciousness is not completly linked to your physical body, but only to small parts of it, like the eyes or lips as you said... and several books of OOBE says that whenever anyone feel this sleep paralysis symptoms, they should feel theyre floating, and there is a great chance of a OOBE happen from this.
Also, thats why you get this "hallucinations" when youre sleep paralysed. Its because some parts of your consciousness are out of the physical plane (thus unable to affect it, which means you cant move), and are recieving information from another "planes" instead the physical one.
All this things you described, sleep paralysis, out-of-body-experiences, and seeing "spirits" are closely related. They are just manifestations of the same thing, which is your consciousness being able to acess other "planes" instead the physical and material one.
So full of knowledge you are:thumbsup:, also, i didnt mean disease, i couldnt think of a good word, but i guess condition would better fit it. Well putQuote:

Since I became a daily toker, I don't have lucid dreams, or any type of dreams anymore. I am shore I still do dream, I just am unaware of it and never realize/remember them.
