alot of these things aren't strange... they're just uncommon.... like rabbit, bat, snake, aligator, turtle etc... it's all just meat from an animal... it's just not one of the more common animals people eat such as lamb, cow, pig etc...
now the headcheese thing and blood pudding, and bugs... those are kinda strange... i dunno if you see where i'm going with what imean or not... but most of these are just muscle tissue from animals not commonly eaten... so it's not really strange... just uncommmon o.0
rattlesnake for me. was pretty juicy but way tooooo many bones. was a bitch to get any meat from.
Yeah, I don't see any value whatsoever in eating snake meat. Far too many bones. I've tried that, too, but it wasn't nearly as strange to me as a handful of salted, fried grasshoppers.
Smoked oysters I like.
Hmm i wonder what aligator would taste like..
at a restaraunt in Latvia my friend ordered Reindeer Soup...
He said it was lovely.... disgustin, Ive been a veggie for 5 years
it's actually pretty good.... it's got a tougher texture then chicken, but the flavor is pretty much the same.. (lol it's actually one of the only things that really does taste like chicken) but yeah, it's got more of a steak texture, and the taste of chicken... more juicy and flavorful then chicken tho...Quote:
