The strangest food that you actually ENJOYED
We've probably all tried some STRANGE food, but it's not always pleasant.
Have you found one you thought you'd hate, but didn't?
I'll go first...
Dark chocolate chipotle frozen yoghurt. Holy shit, that stuff is delicious!!! Chocolate and chilies are a great combination, but I'd only ever had it in mole... this was FANTASTIC.
Those little fried baitfish served at Korean restaurants come in second. They are surprisingly palatable, but I'm not going to run out and buy a packet.stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Are you talking about those fish with huge eyes? When I lived in Okinawa everyone loved them and I thought they were really gross looking.

I don't know if it's the same, but they are like 2 inches long, silver, thin, and heavily salted.

I think you would know if we were talking about the same thing. The ones I'm talking about are around the same size and color but they have huge black eyes. They sell them in bags like chips in Japan. Maybe elsewhere in Asia as well

Okay, probably not the same, these have silver eyes.
Have you seen a bagged-fish product called "FishSnax"? I think it's Japanese in origin... good for bait, but not for eating!

no, but I can imagine any bagged fish product from japan wouldnt be very good by western tastes. They have all types of crazy snack foods there. Being a picky eater I was too scared to try a lot of them. They have some really good candy though.
