Males do tend to show 1st.
I will post some of my lowryder 2 pics, I have one plant that's been going for months..
i want to grow the LowRyder 2 strain soooo bad! I think I may grow in my room near a windowsill. No need for timed lights. This is just for fun and I just want to see how it would turn out since I have no green thumb and its autoflowering. I am going to put them outside from time to time to get some natural light and increase the yield. There is plenty of light and ventilation in the spot in my room where I want to grow.
If I am lucky, I could get a couple ounces from my harvest since LR2 has a yield advantage over the first LR with the sativa cross.
I figure I will buy 10 seeds, and maybe 7-8 will germinate and maybe 4-5 will be female and each would yield about an ounce and a half each.
How much did you yield for your first harvest? This is the question I am dying to know so I will know what to expect if I grow.
Thanks!
Without artificial light and good ferts you will be lucky to yield 3 grams, on a windowsill you don't have much chance to be honest.
Greenhouse/Outdoor woud be better if you can't do it indoor.
Indoor you should be able to yield about an ounce per plant but I wouldn't really count on much more. For SCROG type grows it is a good bet though.
As you can't clone I would grow 1 batch for seeds - just pick best female and male(s) and pollenate. You should get hundreds of seeds which you can then have fun with all over ;)
Strong light - good ferts - full sized pot to gow into = good yielding LR2
Hey there, check out my first post for a link to my "friend's" first lowryder 2 grow. I'm sorry to report that out of 4 seeds he got 1 female, two hermies, and one hetero dude. This batch, he fears a similar fate. The first time, he did change the light cycle from 24/0 to 18/6...maybe that freaked some out, but I've also read that Lowryders carry a stubborn hermie trait.Quote:

Check out his male/female ratio ^^^. Hopefully the batch I'm trying will have better results. Be sure to share your results!
I know this much is true, Spandu Ballet...I'd like to try my HPS with it, but summers make it too hot for my fly-by-night closet setup.Quote:

That can't be right man. Than what the fuck is the point of having this shit if its only going to yield like 3 grams per plant? Thats fucking crazy and not worth the time at all. I'd rather just buy the weed than grow it if its only going to yield that much. It's small, so I was planning on just using a small pot to grow it in.Quote:

Damn this fucking sucks. Man, I just wanna grow some damn plants and I can't grow any decent strains with high THC because I have to configure the light cycle which requires electrical work if I want to grow indoors, and plus the fuckers will be like 10 ft tall if grown outdoors and there is no security. Outdoors would be best if I could just do it on my patio or something with big huge pots for each plant.
FUCK, but I'll try it out and see what happens.
