butane extraction

An easier way of doing it is to get some piping from homedepo and some connectors close of the ends and put a hole small enough on the top for the butane and then put holes on the other side alllll over.. pack that shit with weed.. get a hot bowl of water and then a glass plate put it on top of the water in a very warm environment.. then spray your can in the tube, let it drip out the other side onto the plate let it sit for a day or so... and waaalaa the best damn oil evaa lol...you will be scraping that plate clean... and the piping is better i think... you can use a lot more weed...OH and a heads up to all that is trying make sure you buy plenty of butane one can isnt as much as you think :thumbsup:

This way is only good if you want like 1-2 bowls

shit not the way i do it... you get enough to last you atleast a week... oh but i used mad butane and had alot of weed... so0o0o.. umm... guess it all depends huh

Not with butane. . .other forms of extraction take alot longer. . .

No. The butane doesnt pull anything from the plant. The trichomes contain the highest level of THC CBN CBD CBG. These are the things that either on their own, or together make you stoned/high. When the trichomes are growing on the plants, they are a mushroom shaped capsule of oil - the THC CBN CBD CBG is inside this oil. The drying and curing method crysalises this oil - and you get crystalls. Also, the curing process activates more THC and cannabinoids which add to the effects. The butane basically disolves the crystalls so they are oil again - you collect the oil and butane mixture - the butane evapourates and taaa daa - you've got the oil which contains very high levels of THC CBN CBD CBG.

2-has anyone ever tried drinking the final substance? if so how bad does it taste?

You cant drink it. It's a thick guey oil. I suppose if you disolved the hash oil in some more normal oil it'd be the right viscosity to drink - but drinking oil is never a good idea.

Using it in cooking will blow your head off. I experienced the most amazing things cannabis has ever done to me by using hash oil in brownies.

hmmm i happen to have two cans of butane around the house. one is Ronson ultra butane fuel and the other is Bernzomatic butane. i'm a little hessitant to try it becuase there is a warning on the can bernzomatic can that says this fuel, and byproducts of combustion of this fuel contain chemicals that are known to cause cancer.
how can you be sure that ALL the butane (and any other miniscule chemicals) are out of the oil?

you use certain butanes.... i use ronson myself... certain butanes are completely safe because they have no additives, and some have addititves.
