my faith, i craft my own, i do not partake in religious practices, or daily routine, i look to the world with an open heart and mind, and take in what i perceive. i philosophies and put it together as logically as possible.
therein i have much faith in my beliefs.

Good to see another idahoan here! And yes, this is a truly beautiful state. So much diversity, but everything is pure and unspoiled by progress. Definately a change of pace from Orange County.

I believe because ever since the beginning of time ppl have been talking about a god and hell there probally is one then. Also when I look out at beautiful sceneary and I am smoking a joint... I know for damn sure some awesome kind good god made this for us to enjoy... it couldent have just happened from molucules exploding etc and all that scientific bull crap.. Also I feal some were inside of me that I was indeed created by some type of god.. also that when i am scared shitless ... i start praying... so thats why i believe ... the only thing I have not answered yet is why would this god let evil be on this earth? I mean i just cant understand why he hasnt stopped it yet and is waiting... I hoping one day to find out this questions....
I don't think I have a soul, at least one that will retain my memories, personality, and experiences. If anything, there could be some sort of life force, some sort of unified consciousness, but I honestly do not believe that I will ever be aware of it.
I am somewhat of a materialist, but I am open to new ways of thinking about consciousness. I just don't see how an individual can survive brain death. Everything you are and experience is due to your brain, therefore anything in the "afterlife" would have to exclude this kind of experience, unless you believe in some magical God who can reconstruct your brain exactly the way as it was (which I don't).
