First time Grow room White Widow

dude watch those bad boys put on wieght now that the light is right where it should be give them 2 days and watch the diffrence :thumbsup:

oh and center your light to the middle of the room so all girls get even light and rotate your pots daily

Heres a suggestion by me;
Heat problems like your having could be caused by not venting that heat from you bulb anywhere but in your grow room. I know heat rises and I notice you have an exhaust, perfect. How about this: http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=59042
In short, I, would cut a hole for a seperate exhaust, that way you can pull that heat from the bulb straight out your new exhaust. I, would probably have a fan on the other side of the cool tube where I would attach my exhaust ducting, which leads to the new hole you cut.
I will be needing to do the same on my next grow. My heat was high, but tit was only a 400w hps, and 150w hps. Sometimes it would be around 91 deg. and I had a fan acroos buld blowing the heat in my closet, my exhaust vent was having the door opent during light time. That B.C. starter kit was what I was thinking of going next round, and nute burn sucks! Been there, now I know to gradually increase nutes. People have posted that they use more flower nutes than Grow nutes. Just watch for signs of hunger from the plant and feed when you she um slouching or whatever. Flush'em good before changing nutes. I learned alot my first grow. She was hurting everyday.Peace dude.

Ok I got home replied to all the nice people that talked to me and made some adjustments to the room, oddly enough I lowered my light so its about 15 inches from my babies and within ten minutes the temperature dropped to about 80 degrees in the room. I didnt know I was supposed to rearrange the plants when I check on them so I moved them around a bit too. I posted a pic that shows my exhaust fan up in the top right corner of the room (heat rises) and that fan exhausts right up to my attic where the air can sit and get old then leave the house without any smell. I am confused about one thing you said tho Postmandave beleive me I have seen your posts and def. trust your judgement, you said the high temp in the room is because I have my fan blowing directly on the bulb? Basically I have it so the 12inch fan on my floor blows right on my light which in my mind I thought it would blow the hot air right up to the exhaust fan and out of the room. Is this not the case? Any more specific suggestions on how to ventilate the heat booming off that light? When Im back on my feet financially Im going to invest in a reflector that is enclosed and im thinking I can just use flex ducting going from the "out" side of the light and just mount it so it is right in front of my big exhaust fan. This sound like a good idea? Basically you can see in my pics how my small ocsilating fan is setup, should I move it and if so where should I move it to? Thanks for all the help you guys are great.

Oh yeah not only am I going to put vent tubing going to that big exhaust fan Im going to pick up a small squirrel fan to attach to the reflector that will push cool air onto the light and the hot air out the other side. Only problem is that is about a $150 job and I can barely afford to feed my poor dogs right now but as soon as possible Ill be investing in that.

Ok so I checked on my veg box a few minutes ago and It seems as if I have spider mites the leaves are showing little spots on the tops of them and when I look at the bottom of the leaves Im seeing little brown specks. When I wipe the specks off they smear like they are spider mites. What can I do to get rid of them and prevent them from any further damage? should I hold off on transferring any more plants from my veg to the flowering room? Damn it the last thing I wanted was fn spider mites. HHHeeeelllppp!!!

well my grow went south on me my fucking PH meter was broke or something and i dont think i can fix her in time(3 weeks left) so im going to hang out in your thread till your done make sure you keep updating so i can jump in and help you out if you need it :)
