trying to stress my plants ....
Reaper,
I meant no disrespect in your growing ability, but the clonning aspect was/is new to you and me. Thats where the "Rookie" came in..
I am a Rookie...just restarted growing again after many years...I am an "old fart" as well...Still have my first copy of "Old Homegrown Quarterly" Nov 1979:D am now retired heavy equipment operator...30 yrs..Lovin life to the fullest....
I agree with your plan with the lights...had a problem with my timer, it got hit and the time was off several hours before I realized it..I now have a "hermie"....
Great looking stressed plant I might add.....hope you succeed...

no prob, I took no offense, whatsoever :D ... (I learn something new everytime I come in here) ... I've only cloned one time, and while it turned out fine, I just prefer seeds ... hard to change an old dirtfarmer, I guess ... :D ... I have read clones are never 'quite' the plant Mommie was, I don't know if that's true, but I'll find out before long, these 4 clones are coming down soon ... I have two NL99s and two Cotton Candy/S.A.G.E./NYCdiesels in their 6th week of flower ... their Mothers were/are powerhouses, so hopefully, their kids will be, too ... the Windex idea was from a friend who grows exotic orchids, etc.,, and unexplainably really perked up the plants  ... it just occurred to me last night, farmers use ammonia to release the nitrogen from the soil, that must be why it didn't harm them  ... :smokin:

Dude I have done something along the same thing! I was doing a outdoor grow but started to late and my plants where 10-15cm when they started to flower and I put them back into veg two days ago under 24/7 and one of my females started growing balls so its a hermie but can this plant now flower it self and I will have 99% females or 100% hermies? Also it is possible to put them back into veg they have been flowering no more than a week. I know I have stressed my babys now but they wont all turn into hermies? If they dont how long will they take to recover the shock???

I hesitate to even answer this, since I am definitely not an expert on breeding, and I loaned my books to a friend ... but, if I understand it right, if the male flower on your hermie pollinates another female, all the resulting seeds will produce female plants only ... BUT, I am not sure if they pass on a 'hermie' trait, too ... maybe someone more informed will see this thread ... Latewood would know, I'm quite sure ...

Passing on the hermi trait...Tough question, and I'm not an expert by any stretch...
I'm going to take a shot at this one.
Most plants CAN go hermi. The odd, rare one absolutely CANNOT, without use of gibberellic acid; she is an absolute GEM, and we are going to forget about her for now.
So let's say there is a scale from 0-10, 0 being no herms, ever, no matter how hard you stress the plant, to 10, being that the plant for all intents and purposes is in fact monoecious, displaying both types of sex organs under normal stress-free growing conditions.
Numbers 1-9 are plants that can go hermi depending upon how much stress they are exposed to.
So a plant with a hermi number of 1 is going to take a LOT of abuse, while a plant with a 9 is going to grow nut sax if you so much as look at her crosseyed.
The next thing that we are going to assume is that the plant's hermi number is a heritable trait.
So go ahead and imagine 2 plants, one is a 1 on the hermi scale, and the other is a 9.
Both are exposed to enough stress to produce male pollen and used to pollinate an 'average' female.
The seeds produced will be feminized seeds.
However, each batch will inherit the traits of the pollen-donor parent.
One of those traits is how much the feminized daughter can then be stressed before she, too, bears male sex parts.
So the offspring from the pollen donor parent with the number 9 are going to be really hard to grow to maturity without getting herms.
I believe that this is how it works. I hope that LAtewood DOES see this and corrects any erroneous assumptions I may have made.
