trying to stress my plants ....
here's an oddball question for the experts ... I have 4 plants a month into flower, that are so damn good, I want seeds from them ... they're already flowering well, probably too late to pull clones from them ... I stripped lots of leaves off of them, ran the temps up into the mid-90s, sprayed the hell outta them with Windex (an orchid-grower told me that will cause sex reversal ... didn't work, plants seem to LOVE the stuff
) ... still 100% female ... now, I'm curious if putting them back into an 18 or 24 light cycle may stress them ... ??? anybody know for sure ? (no guesses please) ... :smokin:

OK, I found some info in Mel Frank's books ... he says to CUT the light to 8 hours ON, after severe pruning, to stress for a sex change ... I sure hope to get some seeds out of these clones... the mommas (NL99) just got out of the curing jars, and are outstanding !!! ... ... :stoned:

OK, I will try cuttings again ... I have been told it is pretty rare for good clones to come from plants deep into flowering, but I'll give it a shot ... while I have been growing from seed for over 40 years (I'm an old fart) ... I have only attempted cloning once (and they did finally thrive, just took quite awhile) ... thanks for the suggestion ... :smokin:

well that would be stupid in most peoples opinion. Causing stress reduces yield and makes shitty plants. If you want to cause stress, just fuck with the photoperiod. from 12/12 for however long you've had them to 18/6 for 2 weeks back to 12/12 for 2 than to 24/7 for a week than back to 12/12 will almost always cause hermies if it doesn't than you have found a true gift. a xx female. BTW, WINDEX IS POISON MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET ALL THAT SHIT OFF BEFORE YOU SMOKE IT!! (DUMBEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD OF!)

I always get seeds, after I harvest I leave the two smallest buds on the bottom and stop watering them,in about two weeks I get seeds. Because they are stress induced they should all come out Female(I won't swear to the all female part)It happened once when I was try to reveg and 2x in a row since.

This is the exact reason I keep a few known males as breeders in a perpetual state of veg.
The chemical you'all are looking for is gibberellin, or gibberellic acid.

I don\'t claim to know the first thing about growing anything; hell, I can\'t make a Chia pet sprout.
