[2.194] The Sacred month for the sacred month and all sacred things are (under the law of) retaliation; whoever then acts aggressively against you, inflict injury on him according to the injury he has inflicted on you and be careful (of your duty) to Allah and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil).
i am not like a scholar of Islam or anything but this saying is like the one an eye for an eye...do not go overboard but if someone punches you in the face you have the right to punch him back but only if he downplayed your religion....see in Islam we are not allowed to do anything violent unless someone is acted against God or Gods will....no when they see posters of Muhammed being made fun of or rude sayings of Allah they feel like they must retailate....i think people are naturally stupid because in every religion God is the almighty and he takes care of all the bad behaived so i wish i could just tell those people don't worry about it alot of you are going ot be killed but at least those who fucking killed you are going to get it worse.
I have a question for any Christians though...im half white and half afghan so i understand both religions and i choose the religion of Islam because i feel that it suceeds Christianity but anyways why is it that you can confess your sins and believe that Jesus died on the Cross for any sin that you may commit...u could kill 14 people rape 12 people and burn a bible but as long as you believe in Jesus and confess ur sins you are okay...well at least this is what a friend told me and he stictly believes it...i asked him about all the people in prison who have committed crimes and he said they will go to heaven.....therefor the only thing you have to do "technically" is be christian to go to heaven no matter what you do on earth...at least thats the way i interpreted as... a reply would be great
LOL, please, don't attribute races to these religions... if you want to be technical it's most likely that the Israeli were closer to black if anything. It doesn't matter race, and its the same case for Islam.Quote:

In Christianity, it is through the grace of the Lord that you have been saved, not of works. Also, through the eyes of the Lord, sins are sins. Even a lie merrits death, so the severity of sins are not exactualy looked at. There WAS one sin, blasphemy of the holy spirit, that was unforgivable with sacrifices but even that is forgivable now. But, the idea is that a true christian who is born again, WANTS to do good. One of the big things of the bible is trying to explain how bad sin is. Why would you bite the hand of your provider? Spit in the face of the Lord, because sin is nothing less.
But, in all this, rewards will be given in heaven will be according to your life. Rewards will be recived humbly and in thanks and your works of the earth will be tried by fire. This is a parable of course, the fire that is. Imagin, your actions manifested into something before you, thrown in the fire and all the actions of sin burned away. Whats left is your gift to the Lord.
But, in all this, it is not a competition with fellow christians to see who does the best, but to love the Lord and want to do good.
Can God forgive you for taking anothers life or does that individual have to? and im not bringing race im just stating that it helps to understand things around the world when your parents are different races and religions
God can forgive you, but only through Jesus. And what is it the individual has to do?:confused:Quote:

Cash that is a good and fair question. In the book of Romans it actually talks about this. Many people think because of grace they basically have a ticket to sin. This is not true. There's a diference between forgiveness and repentence. When we ask for forgiveness we are basically just admitting that what we did was wrong ad are apologizing for it. When we repent we do ask for forgiveness but it also involves a change in habit and attitude. So, if I just ask for forgiveness but keep committing the sin and keep coming back for forgiveness there is no change in our heart and attitude etc, but when we truly repent there is the change. It comes from a desire to be more Christlike. I am by no means perfect but I rest in the work God does in my heart.
I hope that made sense. lol I'm on my first cup of coffee. If you want to discuss this further in private we can do so by e-mail if you'd like.
