Help! Lost the laughs!

I tottally dig what you guys are saying. I used to laugh everything up when I was high but now I just kind of sit and take everything in. it sucks though because when im hanging out with people, a lot of times it will just be me and one or two of my friends who are stoned and everyone else seems so stupid and fake. like i can read what people are thinking like a book when im stoned. I have this one girl im friends with and shes hot but really stupid and i cant stand being around her when im stoned. but if im with someone who's comfortable with themselves and im comfortable with, i always end up getting in these deep conversations with them. great thread btw.

yeah i miss the days when i first started smoking. it was so fun, i remember me and my friend used to sit on his screened in porch and smoke and watch this kid outside and we would just laugh at everything.

mebay cause your "high" so often, you've lost that "high". stop smoking it for a week then get really stoned. cause then their aint any mope THC in your brain. you would get the full effects. try it

some tips:

find some hash/honey oil: this honey oil I have makes me laugh again like I did when I started smoking

take a break: take about 5-7 days off from smoking if you can and see what happends

enviorment: where are you when you're usually high? I prefer either at home by myself or with a group of friends that I know are funny. Fast food lines in the inside can be really funny when you're all stoned.

Same thing happened to me, I used to laugh my ass off at first but now I just get mellow. I even stopped smoking for 5 years (been smoking for almost 25 years altogether) and even that didn't really help much.

My personal belief is that we just get used to the feeling so its not funny anymore. Like hearing a joke for the 100th time, at first its hilarious but after a while you just want to say "shut the fuck up". When we first start its such a new experience, plus there's that exitement of doing something forbidden. So we get the giggles and laugh. After a while thats all gone. So , like slipknotpsycho pointed out, nows the time to see what else weed can do for you, like opening your mind etc.

As far as the whole "middies", "kb", "headies", "chronic", "hydro", etc, thing is concerned, those are just terms referring to the quality/potency of the weed. Those aren't strains of weed and the strain is what determines the type of high you get. A strain that is mostly indica ,like Blueberry, will give you a very mellow body high. Something that is primarily sativa, however, like ICE or Haze will give you a more energetic high. All of these are top quality weed and will get you high as fuck but one will lead you to the nearest couch and one will make you want to go do something fun. Unfortunately most people don't have a choice of what type of weed they are buying but if you do go for a sativa.

When you just started, you had just started school, you had little to no worries or a lot less then you do now. Before you could pick up a dime or 20 and smoke a little and be merry. You would keep that same care-free no worry mentality and it would make you laugh and keep you uplifted. It was an excitement for you to go thru the ordeal to get high. ie. getting the weed, rolling it or whatever have you, now its like.... routine. You have your weed, you can roll or smoke like its no problem ;) and now its routine. But in the midst of all that,

somewhere you lost your carefree feeling and you don't feel as uplifted as before. Things that used to be amusing to you aren't, and when your high, the feeling has become so normal that your not cracking up. I've been thru what you've gone through before. And you know what, trying getting a different dealer. To be honset with you, I"ve had KB and it wasn't all that. To add to that, theres weed that makes me have bad red eye, theres weed that makes me hungry, theres weed that makes me laugh, make me tired, makes me active, ect... but like they said up there before, try different strains.

and you know what also, sometimes just try and make yourself laugh, dont try and be serious, act like you don't give a fuck and have a good time. good luck bro

weed has actually made me laugh at tv shows when I'm sober, I usually never do, dunno why...
