Help! Lost the laughs!
Hello, I really hope you guys can help me out with this. Let me start from the beginning, since there is no better place to start.
I began smoking in 7th grade, and some of my very best memories are from then. I would laugh away, everything seemed funny, and it made my high so much more memorable and meaningful than what I am experiencing now.
I'm currently a senior in high school, and after taking a break for a year in sophomore year I lost the ability to laugh at nothing when I'm high. I'm very mellow now, when I'm around new people it makes me less social than I am when I am sober (which is pretty odd because it used to do the opposite for me).
Anyways, I'm just wondering if you guys have any tips about getting this laughter and fun back. It seems that pot now makes me really relaxed and chill for the first hour but after that it's all anxiety.
Some things to help you help me:
- I smoke heavily now. Heavily for me is maybe 3 times during the week (sometimes none) and basically 3PM friday afternoon until 5:30 at night on sunday :rasta: (with a total of probably 5 or so hours not high).
- I do not sit and try to laugh at everything, I don't even notice it when I'm high unless it comes to mind.
- I have attempted to take a month break and it did nothing. I got a lot higher for the first week but after that i was back to normal, and nowhere in that involved any giggliness or laughter.
I understand that some people don't want this feeling, but my fondest memories of smoking are when I had this. Is it that I have developed a permanent tolerancy because I know a lot more about it now, or is there a way to get the laughs back?
Also, don't get me wrong here. I, like all of you, love bud, and I don't plan on quitting any time soon. Also, it's not like it's a bad high every time, it's just not as good as it used to be.pixel Reviewed by pixel on . Help! Lost the laughs! Hello, I really hope you guys can help me out with this. Very nice of you to respond so fast
Unfortunately, the bud I used to smoke was KB (Kind Bud)
The bud I smoke now is Headies
To my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong) Headies is much more powerful than KB, and KB is a low-grade weed. Is this correct or is it the opposite?Flick your BIC Expand your mind

KB is like.......beasters. It's your ordinary standard dank, higher than mid-grade, but not great either.
Headies is one step above.
If you want the laughs, you gotta not smoke everyday. It's that simple.Happiness only real when shared

didn't read the whole thing and sorry that i didn't (i'm drunk) as it may affect what i post, just keep in mind i'm comment on not being able to laugh anymore.
congrulations! you're growing up. you're passing the point of where weed doesn't just become something to laugh at everything in the world. now it's time to realize what weed can REALLY do for you. it can now open/expand your mind.. to create a better you. it can make you not worry about the little shit that used to bug you (not everyone has them, but some do, those things that are just so peddling, yet some people just seem to start a whoel argument over them, such as a friend rocking his foot back and fourth on your bed)... it can help you realize what this world is really about (not saying you don't already know)... i can't say this enough, it's time to see what drugs can really do for people, other than just make them have a good time and laugh at everything. although, all of these things that you will learn weed can do for you will only come from within, since they affect everyoen diffrent ways (and it don't just stop at weed, for instance salvia opened my eyes to a point no other drug or experience ever could have) there will still be points at which you laugh, they will just be diffrent things, try watching stand up comedy, especially featured on hbo, namely dave chapelle, george carlin, robin williams, among others... i mean do you really think there are peopel who have been smoking weed 40-50 years (among other drugs) just to laugh at everything? nope, there are other things it can do for you to, as well curing an innumerable of phsyical and medical problems, including depression, anxiety (kinda weird a drug cures something that it can also affect, i.e. paranioa), among others. you have entered the learning stage of drugs, and passed the "laugh at everything lets get high to laugh" stage, everyone around me has done it, and it's a very notable accomplishment... again, congrulations.

Excellent post.
However you misunderstood me on the labels. KB is both beasters and headies. Beasters is standard light green dank bud, with perhaps a lot of orange or blue hairs, with few trichonomes. Headies has ALOT of trichonomes. That's the major difference. Both are seedless. That's at least how it works on the east side.Happiness only real when shared

like i said, meanings of the "slang" greatly varies by location... i'm not saying that to you headies is not stronger than kb, but here kb is stronger than kb...=/ to bad we can't just get the whole world on the same set of "slang", as that would eliminate alot of the misunderstandings on this board, and in the entire world-wide drug community.
