Perhaps if you'd like to be a hero in the "war on terrorism", you should join the army, snitching on women on the subway doing their shopping impresses no one.Quote:

It's up to citizens to help stop this - the police need our help. I do not mind being stopped and having my gym bag or knapsack searched when entering the subways, etc., but I think that the people that are affiliated with Islamic fundamentalism should be subject to the same thing. Citizens should be alert and partner with the police.
I'll tell you something: Some members of minority communities in New Jersey, the Bronx, Brooklyn, ect. have no qualms about beating the living shit out of Moslems. This is wrong. I just want them to be watched, like everybody else - not less. The burkas should be illegal to wear in the streets. Some MOSLEM societies have banned them over the centuries. Here's something that I agree with them on, albeit for different reasons.
Bringing a potentially dangerous person to the attention of the police is not "snitching". There is no reason that the police, who have been put back in the subways since last summer's threats of attacks on NYC, should be ignored and/or feared by honest citizens. I'm paying them, with my taxes, for protection, and I'm going to use their service as I see fit. This is NOT the same as reporting a shoplifter, tax cheat, welfare fraud, etc., to the authorities
.
lack of backbone i'd wager, maybe dull and wittless or just general incompetence your right! several!!
snichin' is snichin' you are now and forever a rat, there are no terrorist, except those boys in blue you think will protect you, what a joke, they protect themselves and their masters, and you ain't one, you are just a snich/rat. maybe some day they will use the old broomstick on you like that guy in chicago, but then you would like that, make you one of the boys boys.
your own government has perpetuated one of the biggest hoaxes in history and you swallow it, hook line and sinker, what a moron.
enjoy your fear it's all yours, you will never give it to the intelligent person.
The people that are in the most danger are the Moslems ?? due to the actions of the lunatic fringe of their society, and the reactions of the "lunatic" fringes of ours.
They must either:
A.)Eliminate the threat themselves
B) Help the authorities find them
The threat of violence against the innocent Moslem community is not something that I concur should exist, therefore the only way to contain that, and also protect against possible terrorist attacks, is to provide extra surveillance of them. It will provide discouragement to would-be jihads, as well as homegrown bigots and vigilantes.
If anybody thinks this is not necessary, or that it is ??bigoted?, I??d once again advise them to consider the alternative of letting things get out of hand, have the mobs take it upon themselves to act, and go the course of pogroms, lynching, riots, etc. against this community.
You want ??em, this is what we??re up against, and you??re damned if you do, and damned if you don??t. Let??s allow more people that deserve to live here, and want to work, prosper, and contribute to society while becoming new citizens. Do we really want this current situation? I know I don??t. I have no problem with the more secular, moderate to progressive, hard-working Middle Eastern people. They tend to do well because they are educated, middle class, self-sufficient, and totally non-destructive. They do not like terrorists, don't force their women to wear burkas, don't teach their children to hate people that are different, and best of all want to be Americans and make this their home. Those are the right people, and ALL races and ethnic groups that come here should have at least some understanding of, and wish to develop, these traits - for themselves and for their descendants .
If the immigrants don??t even have a chance of doing that, or even recognizing the importance of it, then we don??t need, or want, them.
Here u go BA, I thought about you when i saw this toon(pic)
I've never seen said "big apple" while living or visiting new york, so i can't say anything.
