A 1:1 ratio is not optimal for flowering. I agreee you can mix them, but I also believe you need the red in a 2:1 ratio...to provide the dominant waves.

Ok: to try to explain log rhythmic calculations is hard unless you have worked with power ratios before but I will try.
It will take some time and I think I need to draw a diagram to show you what I am talking about. That may help more then me just saying. Hey you don't even need to believe me at all. Even though I am right you still don't need to believe me.

Power is stilled calculated at x to the power of 20 and is log rhythmic so 1 + 1 does not = 2 in log rhythmic calculations. The drawing may help explain give me a few day's I have DR apts today and tomorrow but I will get to it.

I think everyone will find it interesting and everyone should think more about how they lay out their lights too to improve their yields.
