letting your parents know
yeah, you probably shouldn't tell them. my parents kind of suspected i smoked and so i admitted it to them, and then followed up with a "but i'm trying to quit" (i wasn't really but i thought it would get them off my back). my dad was like, "well i could ground you but that won't help and you're trying to quit anyway" but my mom flipped out and searched my room, and found my new bowl, ashes, and an emptie baggie that smelled heavily of pot. long story short, they even started drug testing me for awhile. then again, my parents are very conservative christians who believe in family values and think that mtv is the channel of satan, so it kind of depends on your parents... if they're laid back and open minded you have a much better chance of gaining their acceptance

I know I got grounded and my mom took my smoke for herself when I was 15. LOL So I'd probably not say anything.
Dude, getting high with your parents is awesome. :)

I told my mom about smoking weed i think 2 days ago, and shes more worried than mad, actually shes not mad at all. If u wanna tell ur parents, make it 100% clear that u dont have a drug problem or need to go into a program or some shit like that. W/e u do, dont let them find out on their own, cuz if they r like anti-drug people they will probably put u in therapy or go to a family councelor.

A tip- Don't get arreseted for possession, it doesn't help them understand when you turn up in the back of a police car.
