yeah that was over the top. but if you want to help the dude in the long run, just document the brutality. if you get involved you will get some too, and be worthless to the guy's civil rights suit.

But thats when all the dirty politics comes out of the wood work. :(
That was cruel and over the line but the guy wouldn't comply with the officers.
When a police officer tells you to stop resisting you stop resisting. That is no time to make a fucking stand.
However, it's obviously pretty fucking extreme to lay the night stick on you that many times. But thats the risk you take when you don't comply.
I would have to say I don't agree with this as there are many proven ways to restrain someone without resorting to extreme violence.Quote:

Communists, Socialists & Jews
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me--
and there was no one left to speak out for me.
We would all do well to remember these words. :thumbsup:
Dang fine quote and very fitting - especially moving because of Niemoller's firsthand experiences.
we all know that this is if not totally a violation, at least stepping above the line
and we all know cops just like many other groups have bads and goods. ok given in certain areas maybe many of them are just plain badass cops who want their will enforced. but still using "cops" is like using "blacks" or "muslims" and its an over generalization, it only gives them more to do against us as they say, they hate us so we can use deadly force if we only "think" they were up to something against us!
this cop certainly deserves to get punished by virtue of seeing this video not taking into account the background, in my judgment.
there are daily incidents like this, but what can a citizen do against the system that treats citizens like sheep? and cops are the shepherds of the system or better said the the dogs of the herd
so most of us can only watch and think and learn and try to avoid this. however after things are done, there is always a way for those of us who can afford to get the justice, we all know money buys it! bad/cheap lawyers usually wont!
