NEW SOCOM

The camp factor is way high in this game, It takes a good team to get close but once you do they all die in a matter of seconds. Campers just die shot in the back of the head. The Master Chief in charge of SOCOM relations said it best, "Shoot, Move, Think, Communicate". I dont nesesairly follow that order, but when I get put down I alwasy think which one should I have done, and camping is never one of em.

I dont know which maps your talkin about, theirs lots of jungle maps, and their are new maps with a eastern european feel. Such as the map with lots of bulding projects and in a blown up war ridden area. The one I like is the ruins of greece, it looks like the pantheon, and the parthanon is on the top of the level, Foxfire is good, I dont like night maps to much though, I dont get to play the game as much as I like and Im still getting the maps down. So in the night maps, im like a sheep walking around with a bullhorn.

I did hear that some map packs are planned to be released in the near future, I have not heard anything officialy though. Most just talk from fools in the game, and most of them say dumb shit like wepon map packs, which is dum because all the wepons are on the game already. You just have to join different factions to get em. I kinda dont like that, I wana use all the wepons, but you have to be SAS or SEAL or PIMA, you cant be all, I just want all the wepons at my disposal

The one I'm talking has a windmill in it, if that helps. I think it was on the second or third game. Can't really describe it better then that.

Yea all though I am still having problems with the game freezing and not really being able to connect to many channels, it's really good. They just need to shape the game up and it looks like it may be up there with COD and halo. :stoned:

Im not sure the only windmill I can remember is Harvester in Socom 3, that was one of my favorite maps by the way. Big map in a respawn that map was dope, boats, humvees, teqnicals and a map for snipers, was awsome. And as a small map, it was one of the best ranked 8v8 I thought. But my Fav. mao of all time I think is Aftermath at night, It is raing and their lightnig, but you dont need your night vison becaue the neon signs light everything up.

Yeah Harvester was the name. I remember this one that took place in a forest. There was train tracks too, lol. That was great. Nice place to hide out and snipe. Your cameo really was effective there.

^^ that was back woods, Everyone hated that map , but I liked it. The battle was strange but very good. Alot of people would hide in their guillies in the high grass or behind logs, and snipe. Problem was if you were able to crwl into the high grass they could not see you either. I have been in battels crwling through that shit for minutes on end looking for the hidden snipers, and end up killing the snipers from about 3 feet away. You just had to stay quite watch your sorrondings (such as that rock is moving) and hit head shot every time with a silenced wepon. Oh and idiots wwould hide in the water fall, so just throw gernades at the water fall is easy pickings.

Man, that level was great. I hope they get new maps soon. Kind of getting tired of these already lol. They should just bring back all the old maps eventually.

I also remember one that was in Socom 2. It was in a field. Def Eastern Europe. Lots of hills. That was one of my faves.
