2ftx2ft White Widow grow
Looking great, Hudson.
Where did you get your new tent from? Just showed it to my wife and she did not rule it out but from looking around online, anything with a good colling system really costs.
On another subject, have you ever considered hydro? If so, what are the major drawbacks and benefits in your opinion?
Thanks.

Thanks guys,
Got my tent from ebay ($100, but I wish I'd paid a little more, it's not the best quality but i'm sure it'll do for at least a couple of grows) The air cooled light, fan and filter are from ebay too ($300)
I've been thinking about hydro for a while, I'll probably give it a try for my next grow. I've looked at the various systems and DWC, NFT, etc etc and would like to try Aero, from what i've read that gives the fastest growth. The one in particular I'm looking at is the Rainforest 66 it's just the right size for my tent and seems a good system.
As far as drawbacks/benefits I'm far from being an expert but in my humble opinion i'd list drawback as - not as forgiving as soil (any errors are more noticable), mechanical failure problems (if a pump goes down and you don't notice it very soon chances are your plants will die)
Advantages - Increased yield, reusable medium (no more buying fresh soil for each grow), semi automated (less time spent watering and feeding)
They're just what I can think of now and that's enough to convince me to give it a try but i'm sure there's lots I've left out.

I've just give the plants their first feed of bio grow, the bottle recommends 2-4ml per litre i've gone for 1ml for the first dose, only gave them a little water maybe half a litre between the 5 of them because they're just recovering from my overwatering. I was gonna wait till tomorrow but I want to stop the yellowing before it gets worse. I can't see it being anything else really, just don't remember them wanting feeding so soon in previous grows, hope I've done the right thing we'll see.

Just thought I'd share some more pics with everyone. A couple showing my first attempt at lst and some other random shots I took. All seems ok for now, the yellowing doesn't seem to be getting any worse (couple of the pics show the yellowing) and they seem to be growing pretty quickly at the moment.
How's the lst looking? Any advice?

Did you put screws in the side of your pots for anchors? Looks very well done.

youve started adding a little nutrients, thats good just dont give full power yet.
ive had nute problems by having the plants go a little yellow when there small so its good to start nuting at about where you are now.. soon theyll take off and you can add more as necessary anyways..
lst looks good too, lst rocks :)

Thanks for the comments guys, good to have a bit of reassurance i've done ok with the lst, was kinda worried i'd snap them at first but they're pretty tough and seem to have adjusted to it well.
yeah thats right cede i put some screws in the pots to fix the string to.
hey whisky, started nutes a few days ago at 1/2 the min dose that bio bizz advise and they seem to have really had a burst of growth this week.
I've cut down on watering this week, once every 3 days seems to be doing the job and i'm gonna feed every other watering.
LST is going well, got a few of the lower branches growing well and reaching for the lights, i'm tryna tuck leaves underneath others so they don't block any light to these sites. The main stem that i've bent to grow horizontally is now near the edge of the pot so I was thinking about training it to bend back round on itself in a kind of U shape instead of just keeping growing in a straight line (i hope that makes sense) I'm a little concerned that it may lead to light penetration or mold issues because there'll be dense folliage and buddage with the stem growing back on itself.
What do you guys think?
Oh and I've just booked a hotel in amsterdam for a couple days away with my girlfriend next month so I'm buzzing about that too :rastasmoke:
