I wouldn't be on a plane for that very reason, fear of plane crash and not having any control over my life at all while I was on that plane.
If I was in a plane and it was going to crash, I would be pissed off and trying to kill the pilots for losing control of the plane before we hit the ground and go out fighting.
Thats interesting... I feel much the same way.Quote:

That Concorde barely got off the ground, then caught fire and fell like a rock. In a sudden terror situation like that, I would scream and then release my bladder and bowels. Not that that is what I would WANT to do, but I think that's what would happen. The shock and terror would take you, and your mind would be gone.
Now if we were cruising at 30,000 feet, and the plane developed a problem, and I knew we would probably crash in 20 minutes, then I could go into it with more dignity and probably be very calm about it. Think about my family and life.
Hey Snot, Ive had this happen 3 times in my life. Like they say, "Your whole life flashes in front of your eyes." You go into a weird daze, and you get very, very calm. You think "I guess Im gonna die" and you accept living, or dying in an instant. (hard to understand) but you are prepared for it. You really do see the most important moments in your life in slow-motion. And they do flash before your eyes. Its not something you have to think of. It just happens. But when that point comes, you come to where life or death is comforting. Either or. Most people choose life. There is something inside the soul of a human that will choose life, unless the soul cannot continue.
HAHAHA speak for yourself :) ;)Quote:

Apparently, the pilot's cabin lost pressure, but the main passenger cabin didn't. So the pilots were unconscious, locked in the control cabin, and the passengers were awake and literally waiting to die.
It's hideous to think about.
