Black Tips Help Please
LOL:D
So, I'll give you back SOME credit and say that I think you're on to something with the nitrogen! I think the superthrive made MORE available while the temps decreased, ultimately USING less. The logic makes sense in my situation, but I'm not sure the conditions were even similar in "Quantummist's" (is it?) situation.

Black Tips Help Please
Well I've definitely noticed that with my grow nutes (Pro Gro) I cannot add ANY superthrive or its too much nitrogen and shows pretty quick so personally I think ST has a pretty good kick to it.
I'm not of the group that does any deer repelling of that kind so can offer NO experience there.....:wtf:

Black Tips Help Please
Well I have taken all the thoughts into play and let me say that so far I haven't found the problem answered. Its not a Purple its Black and may seem that in the photos as I had to lighten the photos in order to see the problem a bit better. But it had the look of Black Mildew. Its passable as I have found it on 2 of my other plants which are completely different strains and its was only on 2 budding tips that I touched after touching the tips on the plant with it on several tips. SO I now use latex gloves and have started using a mild bleach to rinse off between handling the plants.
This tells me its not a genetic variance of the one plant, And since all my plants are in the same area and receiving the same nute mixes and all are looking in perfect health I don't see a nute over/under issue. I only have 4 plants 1 a tall one with wide indica type leaves and is earliest flower of them.. I'm a bit afraid its actually a Rope Hemp plant but gona let it finish if its good ok if not theres always hash, one is a low growing very bushy thin leaf girl that perfect. The other two I'm useing Scrog and have them under a chicken wire top and are spread out over a 8 X 4 foot area . Its one of these in the scrog setup thats the one that has ongoing black tips that are on maybe 15 to 20 % of this plant. It seems that its not readily transfered to the plant next to it as the one next to it has had maybe 2 or 3 tips affected that I have snipped off .
But as a check a couple days ago I rubbed my finger on an affected tip and went to the tall indica and rubbed a bud on a lower branch and a tip on the short sativa and both tips formed the Black Tip. I clipped em off today but its deff infective.
So far I have tried Fugicide and made a mild bleach spray and tried both.. No Effect on the black..
And Yes if left alone it Kills the new tip and spreads to the stem and all surounding leaves causing the leaves to first curl then droop then die. So picking them off as I find them is the only solution I see so far as far as yield If this keeps up and threatens my good plants I'm a gona pull the bitch up by the roots..!! If anyone comes up with any ideas I have yet to try please let me know.. Thanx folks..

Black Tips Help Please
I believe I have seen this before, I dont know what it is.....
but the symptoms seem to be the same , I believe it a viral disease.
although we dont know its the same thing I have seen exactally I instructed the plant owner to try 70% Neem oil...Neem oil kills most moulds midews & diseases.....it did stop the problem!
lets hope its the same thing & it too can be halted

I'll place my bets on Stinky and Ganja and say a virus as well......be aware I'm only parroting here but I think they both are the shits with knowledge. I DID look in my Garden Problem Solver and it DID talk about viruses but only in a very, very vague way (plants get viruses) with no info except destroy the infected parts OR the infected plant as the virus is spread by insects. Perhaps that is part of the neem oil treatment GG is talking about.
I'll check back. Good luck.

I would be very hesitant to go that heavy on neem
It easitly suffocates plants
I've done it before lol.
With roses, there are 2 solutions:
-Destroy plant
-Take buds and bud onto a healthy rootstock, or perform micropropagation, and hope to hell that the virus had not spread to the new tissue yet, and then destroy the original host plant
In your case, the symptoms showing in new growth is not a good sign, becasue it means you can't get virus-free clones.

Black Tips Help Please
Well boys and gurls heres the latest .. What ever this crap is its tough stuff. I have treated with every thing I can come up with and its done nothing except stunt and damage the plant and has not even slowed the Black stuff from showing up on about 50% of new growing tips. It has also been transfered to a couple bud tips on each of the plants in the area so I think that its a spore based pathogen and transfered by either my touch or insects feeding about.
Picking off affected tips gets rid of it and it does not seem to spread as a virus through the plants structure and onlt grows where it lands and spreads from there. It absolutely looks like Black Mold but even a 2 Tspoon of bleach in a 1/2 gal of water has no effect on it, neem = nothing, 2 different spectracides have had no effect on it. If left to grow I think in a couple of weeks I would have total infection of the whole plant new growth.
So to keep it in check I have decide to cut the girl down and burn in the fire pit . It seems the only plant that is fully involved and the others are thriving, Its starting to look really sad and it mostly due to me poisoning it so much already.
Sux but sacrifice for the good of the whole I guess..
