My little experiment
I forgot who had the link but there was a small write up on connecting the comp fan to a DC12v adaptor.(just cut the wires on that and connect to the fan wires).
I seperated them this afternoon around 2pm and they are both still green, hoping tomorrow/later today they are still fine. I planted one in the exact same bag of soil, the other in the same brand but a Organic Blend. Will see which turns out better.

My little experiment
yes,
connnecting it to a 12 V DC adapter or PS will work. Just remember that DC voltage is polarity selective unlike AC. Must have pos to pos, neg to neg.

My little experiment
Ok done the transplant and seperated the 2, thing is one is doing great the other looks to be drooping. I kept 1(doing great) in same soil(8-12-8) and the other(drooping) in Organic(4-6-4). They both recieve the same water with Shultz Plant Food Plus, and even the droopy one is alot closer to the light.(3 inches compared to 12ish on the doing great one. any advice?
Thanks ghetto.

My little experiment
Update.....
They seem to be alright and I now have a 13w and 23w going in there for the both of them. Is it normal for the edges of the leaves to grow upward though towards the light? Also I am basically doing the 18/6 and after the 6 the leaves droop a little assuming normal also?

My little experiment
Update, one looks as though it wants to just roll over and die. It fell over and I had to resoil and used some of the original soil(not the organic I tried to switch it to).
I am still using water with 10-15-10 food in it but am wondering if I can use Food for Roses at 15-30-15? I am also wondering if I can do the "Fimming" thing to the healthy one?
How soon till I know if it's a boy and ditch it?
Oh and I am now usiing 2 23watt CFL's do I really need much more at this stage, especially if I let the one die would 2 23's be enough for 1 plant?
Thanks in advance.
