    My little experiment

Hey everyone very new here and new to the growth thing. I basically am just experimenting because I have 4 children that I can not risk finding anything. 6 more years and I can do what I want at home
Anyways I followed somepeoples advice and soaked my bag seeds in water and plantfood for 4 hrs and then put them in a damp papertowel and put them in a tupperware container. I put these in my closet and bamm I got the little worms to come out. I planted 2 seeds(with the wormy things out) in this pot and have now she is growing.

Good start, so how big is the space you can use for this grow? Goals ? You have stated that do to people in your home you can not let anybody find this, so I was just wondering what your overall plan was...curious.

The plant is growing on my endtable in my bedroom. I think I am just seeing how far I can grow this plant. I have only spent $1.99 on the Plantfood and $4.99 for the florescent bulb. Beyond that it I have no real intentions for my house is small and the only room the kids cant go in is my bedroom. Wife thinks I am crazy but hasnt told me to throw it out yet. How long can I keep it in that pot?

Is my current set up enough to grow it big enough to transplant?

Basically, yes. Just don't over water it. When you stick your finger in 2" or so, is it still moist? When it is getting dry-ish, water it just a bit until a little bit runs out the bottom.

All you need to grow a plant is an area that is 2'x2x'3', a couple CFLs, a 3 gallon pot, and some nutrients to give it.

I don't know what soil you started in, but I hope it is not miracle grow! If you start in a soil that has alot of fertilizer in it, the plants will get burned by how much food is in it.

If you want to grow this thing out, I would suggest that you first scope out an area, post a picture of it, and I'll help you from there. How big is your bathroom? Do you have an area big enough that you can devote to it?

You could continue the grow for around:

    $6 for a 24 hour timer
$5 for a bag of soiless potting mix
    $3 for a 3 gallon container
$20 for the nutrients (Anyone know what cheap nutes he can use? Tomato ferts?)
    $15 for light bulbs
Water- If you have a purification system, then that is good, but if not, you might have to go buy filtered water (buy a 5 gallon jug then refill it for $1.25 or so). They only need about a litre of water every 3-4 days when they are big.

So do you want to do it? Grow it small for fun then toss it? Plant it in your backyard?

your probably better of trying to find a place seculded out door's. if you have 6 more years with kids i'm geussing the oldest is 12, so he probably wouldnt even know what a marijuana plant looked like. it will probably stink up your house. and become very hard to hide. so either invest in some more cfl's soon and move it all into a closet, or find a nice hidden spot in outside. oh and to control the smell you can get a febreeze carbon filter for about 15 bucks at walmart, and it works pretty well.
