st. john's wort is supposed to make you not be depressed.
valerian is supposed to make you go to sleep quicker, doesn't work for me, but i've heard some people love that shit. you can get it in teas.

Go to the health food store and get some meletonin. It will only work a few times as ur body will build up a quick tolorance but its better than not sleeping. After a few days just smoke a night bro.

it works. i took two st. john's every day for like a month and a half... my mood never fluctuated because i always had a bit of serotonin. i could always deal with heavy shit and just be like 'fuck...' and then just realize whats going on, realize how to fix it, and get on with shit. i got off of it, realized i didn't even need it, or any real MAOI's for that matter... and got on with my life.Quote:

I have a 23 minute mp3 of white noise and a thunderstorm. I burn a couple of tracks of it to a CD and listen to it. It puts me out. If anyone knows a place I can post it for free I'll be glad to.
Put a bit of catnip and lavender springs inside your pillow. The scents from those are natural sleep-aids.
Listen to Slipknot so loud that it bursts your ear drums thus causing you to lose a large amount of blood so you will collapse in a heap on the floor. Trouble with this plan is you may not wake up again.
listening to slipknot that loud is scary. it makes your vision blurry.
I have exactly the same problem. My mum says its anxiety.
5 years ago I used to have a cigarette before going to sleep, and it worked for a while. Then I got hooked. Trust me, my pattern is really messed up, sometimes I'm up all night, or all day, sometimes both, completely unable to get to sleep.
For a while having a spliff worked well, but that guy's right. Once I started smoking it during the day as well it wouldn't help me sleep at night. At all.
