Got a link to that feed schedule??? Sometimes they run the feed schedules a little hot.... Got a ppm meter??? If not, the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full strength schedule should do just fine....Quote:

Just as I thought....that feed chart is way too hot.... 700-840ppms for seedlings/cuttings??? No way....
A ppm meter will make all the difference for you and knowing how strong your nutrient solution is.... When you have some time, read the thread linked in my sig...."PPMS Made Easy to Understand"....
Or you can just do the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full strength method.... What you do is look at the recommended amounts and divide by 1/4 for the first three weeks....divide by 1/2 for the next three....divide by 3/4 for the next three....and full strength for one....and flush the final two.... <----but that really isn't the best way to go about it....
But I'd go get a ppm meter so you know what the strength is.... The ppm meter and the fox farm feed schedule can help you dial in your feeding....
Maybe someone using those same products will chime in....

Thanx Bro! I haven't fed them a thing... everything was incorporated in my mix (2 parts Canadian peat, 1 part cow manure, 1 part Perlite, approx. 1 tbs Plant-Tone, Some added vermiculite for added aeration)

Not quite sure but I think 1 plant is into the 4th or maybe even the 5th set of true leaves? Also, what's up with the discoloration (minor at best) on this one?

Guys:
Know I may have inquired but need to know if nutrients are a must this early in the game or just patience & wait until the 3rd week? Maybe 3-4 sets of leaves in this mixed batch.... Cheers & belated holidays to all

Supplementing your soil with nutes isn't necessary this early....especially if your soil already has nutrient content mixed in....
The discoloration is pretty normal....looks like the plant is feeding itself.... You want to start light (1/4 - 1/2 recommended strength) nute feeds once your new growth start looking light lime greenish....as if it might start yellowing....

Remember asking what may be added to my drying bud & someone replied a small fresh leaf which was unavailable at the time so I improvised & placed a small piece of organic orange peel to the jars & wow.... Outstanding taste/freshness!

Transplanted into 45.4 L containers y'day. One went into some distress but was able to remedy & bring her back. The kid in the middle toward the back of the jpeg shows the leaves pointing up & haven't a clue as to why but the good thing she is correcting & appears to look more normal. They are all looking spiffy & yes they are all turning that light green colour so getting ready for a first feed later today. More to come

Ya see how most all leaves are pointing up like at a 45 degree angle....you want that to happen....IMO.... It shows that your plants are happy healthy and loving it....

One girl has a yellowish leaf? If anyone can give me some input it would be quite helpful. Thanx!

That yellowing leaf is nothing to be worried about.... It's just the plant supplementing itself.... It's when your new growth is yellow that you know something is wrong....
CGI::::::
Thanx bro, gave them some nutes as per the "FF" schedule. Think that they got over the initial shock of the transplant. Keeping the temps at a steady 75F so I'm happy. Any input would be greatly appreciated.... HNY to all..... PEACE

Hey 420 fans:
Curious if the transplant stress will impact the color of some of the leaves.... Noticing some browning on 2 of the plants. Will they rebound & if yes will this take like a week to remedy?

Guys:
Possible to go 18/6 this late in the game w/o detrimental effects?

Gather my question of browning on a few of the leaves is falling on deaf ears but really interested in Possibly going 18/6 this late in the growth cycle (24 Days)?

I believe 16/8 all the way up to 24/7 are veg times so as long as your not switching back and forth you will be good. This is dealing with photoperiod plants not autos.
I said this two weeks ago....Quote:

18/6 can be used from the very beginning....before they even sprout.... I used to have my lights on 24/7 in veg too until I realized that it isn't necessary or making them grow any faster....Quote:

As per my previous post it appears that the 1st plant is showing 5 nodes, correct........so I may "Top" her?

I ask again cuz I believe there are 5 + nodes. Just need some reassurance? Including a jpeg so you can have an idea.

You can top anytime you want. I think i counted 5 nodes or so. I usually let mine get bigger before i top but its all up to you. Man those are some compact little ones. Did you ever go to 18/6?
Thanx for the quick reply.... Cool. Never transitioned to 18/6. Straight up 24/7. Research suggests this method but again, left to interpretation & what is good for me may not for someone else. Then I will top this one cuz I'm not quite sure of the other 4.

Thats cool. Just curious to where youve researched that stated 24/7 was the best veg time? Im asking cause im pretty sure that about 95% of everything ive ever read said that the plants do better with some darkness. But im always up for some new reading.Quote:
